Hey guys,
I'm about to start looking into making a single turbo low mount manifold for my 1jz, not really sure if I will actually use it on the car or not, but i wanna do it for a little project.
So I have a few questions
I dont want to use a merge collector due to space constraints, and I want it to look standardish, so thinking a log style manifold would meet the criteria.
So how do I get the runners to connect to the turbo flange (traditional Single entry T3) Im thinking 2 90deg bends and cut and weld them together and then squish them into the squareish T3 entry shape.
Any hints/tips/pointers/flaws in my plan?
Cheers
Andrew
Edit - here is a Tomei manifold for a late model VVTi 1jz and is kinda what im after but maybe not as fancy and in mild steel
