they should have been put in during compliance. you can buy brackets that you fix to the speaker mounts. they seem to be the cleanest option. there was a thread not too long ago about it all with some pics. EDIT: just did a quick search "r33 child restraint" and found that thread....3rd on the list.

Hey all, what better place to post this than here, where you all are rippin' and junkin your stock systems. My original sony cd stacker in my S1.5 R33 has been dead for a while. I've been without music for almost a good yr now. So does anyone in melb have one that they're junkin out or wanna get rid of for el-cheapo? Has to be in working order of course. Had considered getting a head unit but they all look ugly to me, too many fancy lights and knobs and dials. Just wanted something really minimalist and simple not flash. I remember seeing an old sony double din MD unit yonks ago ago that i really liked with red lights (matches my interor). Had two big ass round displays like mega guages. anyone know what model that was? I don't think it was ever released here. cheers.

so who are these "other" people? the weakest link is usually you the driver. how are you timing it anyways? now ask yourself this question, what is getting your car from 0-100 in 6.2secs on public roads really gonna prove anyways? honestly? pay the $$ and get it properly timed on the strip if still want to prove something.

could be scraping your castor rods..then again it should be scraping if you turn left full lock also. you sure passenger front tyre isn't scraping plastic wheel arch lining? mine does because of the slightly bigger SMIC i put on.

ive got tiny and i mean tiny spots of rust on mine. looks more like surface rust too. do you think the extra stress from your aftermarket strut is one one of the causes?

sounds like your applying for work experience. whats your budget? how long do you plan to keep the car? does it necessarily have to be an import? how many doors do you want? early or late model? I'd say a decent r31, ,my mate had one dunno which model exactly. the thing was bulletproof, had a surprisingly decent amount of power (would beat stock s14's), drove and handled very well. would make for a very good first car i say.

how can you not tell if it is a genuine gtr....lol it might be time to familiarize yourself with skylines. go to a couple of QLD meets, chew some fat with a couple owner and then slap yourself on the back of the head for ever wondering why you asked this question in the first place

isn't that the thrill of picking up strangers..ha. a lot of not all the major workshops are on the other side of town so that makes it a bit tricky also.

man that's a heavy font to read. Shouldn't you ask these questions "before" you buy? which exedy model exactly? organic heavy duty? cushion button? straight button?

to be honest, i cant make heads or tales of that road map/flow chart...lol you know what would make it easy...set up a photo shoot and take clear pics of the screen displays. then its all a matter of cropping and you will end up with something that looks like the real thing. beats duplicating each screen manually.

the mountings are probably loose where the arms fix to the window. just tighten them up. should get rid of most of your wobbles and rattle...worked for me. when you mean shaky, do you mean when its like halfway down right

make sure its a sealed unit. I got a heavy duty one off someone who was supplying them on the forum a while back. cant give you any brand names or model numbers....pretty usless post...ha

how detailed is the menu anyways? if its not too much of a headf**k as in heaps of steps i could knock a flash thing up for you to embed in a website. Im no pro but if its just buttons linking to other stuff i can do that. it may not be the most efficient in terms of fancy coding but it will do the job..ha
