that there sounds like bad business already. should a told him you'd take it up with consumer affairs possibly. take it to another workshop and make sure this time they too don't screw ya over?
+1 for yarra valley winery, not a bad drive if the weathers good, sit down have a feed and drink, quick look around as theres not much to see and thats it good days worth done, then go somewhere in the city at night if your not buggered.
bought mine stock 9 yrs ago. Only problem I 've had with it was a dead original battery, changing super old spark plugs and clutch which let go early last year. The usual wear and tear stuff really. Car is now lightly modified and only thing that needed attention was the 100k service and stuff that I've banged up myself. I dont fang the car unless its a track day and thats once in a blue moon.
If you buy a modified one expect issues, its a given. Unless you buy from someone like myself that looks after their car, but everyone says that when the sell dont they.
dont they do that on sbs with that chick hosting. they did an episode with young drivers and road tolls and had like racing figures arguing their case v police. I personally dont think you will get airtime for an episode on "we're not all hoons" as when you really think about it, what social impact is it really doing, other than being a nusance to drivers by getting pulled over all the time.
thats a surprise. I would have expected "people on here" to suggest you not waste your money on platinums and just get coppers unless you don't like servicing your car yourself..then i can understand why you chose platinums.
wont do any damage and no they dont have to be platinums but if you paid for plats then you should get plats
yep first thing i noticed when i wacked in my gtr seats were that they were alot lower than standard.
a good pair of 33 gtr front seats depending on what series it comes from can go for around 700-1000. the obvious difference between models is its newer/less wear and direct bolt on for the correct corresponding models i think.
my mate got a warning to turn his driving lights/fog lights off durring booze bus. he drives a late model corolla so go figure. why do they stick em on as factory if you cant even use them.
both cars are quite different to drive. you're obviously sick of your s14 and have your eyes already set on a 33. I think you've pretty much answered your own question. Mods will cost the same either way. your 80km skyline if you get a genuine one will be due for a 100k service just the same as your s14 hitting 200k's. there are alot of not so great liners floating around and general rule is you get what you pay for really and im not sure if you can get a decent 33 for 10k? then again i may be wrong.
