Love it or hate it, it's the best compromise there is and it's here to stay. I know, no matter what d|ckheads will always drive like d|ckheads. Either in a 1000000000hp GTR, to a Abrahams M1 tank (ok gone too far....), to a Honda City, they will always be dangerous. But fact remains that they're more of a danger to the public in a GTR than in a Honda City. The worst outcome for future generations getting their P plates is the gov't RAISING the age to get your P plates. Just thank God they never did that. And who cares what you drive. Just be happy your driving. It beats the train and bus! I drove mom and dad's car until a year AFTER I got off my P plates. Does the car you drive really mean so much to your status among your peers?

Faxed my papers to WRX club and now waiting. I'm heading down on Friday night. I'm travelling with a convoy. I've got a soccer tornament to play on Sat and Sun. I'll play Sat but I'll give the final (if my team gets that far) a miss. Track day > soccer grand finals. I'll just tell them I got wasted on Sat night and woke up at 3pm in the afternoon. hehehe...

I think the idea of "x type of engine" is silly. Power to weight ratio would work better. Siddr20, RELAX DUDE! You got your P-plates before July 11 your alright.

I've had DBA4000 on my previous GTR and they were great. The standard R32 rotors cracked around the holes, but then again the car saw lots of track time so its pretty much expected.

If your on a tight budget, don't even think about getting a GTR. They demand money as they're not cheap to buy/own/fix.

Like I said before. You pay for what you get. Something like S03 is THAT much better than the Hankook.

RX7. Sure the EVO has the performance numbers, but these days I want to be in control of the car, not some computer. Ask me the same question 4 years ago and I would've said the EVO!

Yeah I was rather disappointed DC got that drive through. Have to admit, he's doing better at RBR than Maclaren. Hard luck on Kimi, but hey, that's F1 for ya! He was quick but he was pushing TOO hard if you ask me. Out in the lead and spin out like that. The Webber incident, he locked up the front right wheel and just went straight. He admitted fault to it so no arguing who was at fault.

I don't think banning turbo cars will do much. People can get around that by getting a Lotus 7 kit car fitted with a 4AGE 16v motor that will smoke any stock Skyline. Power to weight restriction would work better. I agree with taking their car away with long term suspension. It'll make people think hard before they do anything, and it's a good wake up call when they get busted. Driver training doesn't change people's perceptions. It improves their driving skills.
