LOL !! I heard Greenline were better, cheaper shipping etc. hahah, anyways got the kneecap in a jar at home, so I can unzip the leg and whack it back in (like false teeth) as I see fit... NOT. Yeah, a tad sore now. Pill'd up but rather not take those mindbending painkillers (certainly not at work anyways). Meh. And I was going so well with the physio as well, had increased the strength of the muscles around the right knee area by over 40%. Simply lifted left leg up and lunged to stop a ball that was kicked to me, and the weight transfer and angle on the bad leg just caused it to horribly collapse in on top of itself. Meh, I'll get used to it. Apparently its partnparcel of not having the kneecap.

Cheers mate, lol, I used it all !! doh. Thanks for the information, that is very kind of you. yup, cleaned up the cpu chip and the insert-area as best as possible. still wont crank over properly (all power thru the system, but reboots every second as such). damn I reckon I did see some 'hot spotting' on the chip too....... will try the P4 3.4 chip I have in my home PC tonight. If that doesnt work I think I'll have to install my motherboard and cpu into the work pc, and buy some new stuff for home (with a contribution from work). One thing, this Thermaltake Golden Orb fan/heatsink I installed to replace the L775 fan, it wont spin round without me touching it to get it going. Is 230w not enough power to get it cranking?

my leg collapsed in on itself 2 days ago. so sad so PAINFUL gggrrrrrrr tibia went out and femur came in (no kneecap), fullon collpsed into itself ouchies

please please please bit of a plead for help here, just replaced the CPU fan, its a Pentium 4 3.2ghz L775 chip, and put on a Thermaltake golden orb fan and heatsink. I used the white cement stuff as directed. Now the pc wont work, power runs to all units (harddrives, cd drive, dvdrw drive, floppy drive, video card, usb card, and all fans). So power is going through the motherboard. However, the pc wont work. Press on, and the drives reboot themselves every 3 seconds. I took off the fan and saw that the white cement stuff had gone down into the cpu chip. I took out the chip and found that white shite all in between the little pins of the cpu chip. Would this chip be shagged? Ive got a O4 L775 3.4ghz chip at home I can try tonight.... any thoughts / suggestions ?

Oh? Hows the leg? Is all good? Hope it isnt anything serious. I believe Im the resident leg expert here so if you have any queries or concerns etc drop me a PM, might be able to help steer you in the right direction. And yes, totally agree with the "park stagea = park anywhere" theory. Might have to get my greasy mits on of those little blue stickes with the wheelchair piccy on it, to make it all lawful!!!! lol

It was tuned at 1bar of boost, aqpparently via a modification to the stock boost control.

lol, used to work ummmm 'closely' with Wice Choice's bosses daughter at Ferraris Formalwear (she still works for them, at the Tonsley store) - absolute stunner of a blonde, great bod, bit blonde on the brain tho hehehe. ahh I digress, sweet memories. anyways, the Light Wheel Alignment place was the one the ex-AVS worker told me to go to. So that says something.
-
excellent result. sounds like awk to me..... would have thought 236rwkw was a tad low for a tuned RB26dett, whereas 236awkw sounds about right. nice curve on the dyno graph as well, looks like a tune performed well by a professional. bad luck about the holdups but meh, Yudi Im sure you're happy at the end of the day

Ryan, ex AVS worker, suggested to me the wheel aligment shop in Light Square, adelaide.

Ummm, check ebay lads. Generally a few pop up each month, not all that expensive for a brand name used 'cooler.

lol @ bday sex; geez mums can be so kind and thoughtful sometimes, hey?!?! hahaha sorry man, joking, trying to get ya to laugh - good work on that account tho With the speed camera and the area it was situated in, etc, you have all the right to go with it to court, plead for leniancy etc. As for the rear end, man bad luck. Thats mighty depressing. Hope it all irons out ok
-
lol read the date Cy - camera's wernt even invented back in those olden days

on a side note, yesterday I mucked around and readjusted/tightened a belt (one closest to battery). started car and she just wouldnt run right, stalled at low rpm etc. with that belt just a fraction too tight the engine had issues. I know its not the same problem, but a sidenote nonetheless.

so so so bloody true, as you obviously know. man I feel for you. extremely glad to be off the hardcore painkillers, definately suffered from those unpredictable moodswings as well.

Logitech MX Revolution mouse looks simply awesome for processing applications etc Or the Logitech G5 or G7 (just a cordless G5) look good for FPS gaming
-
ahh ok, good information. Im after the G5 for the 2000dpi (adjustability) and for the extra buttons (for use with BF2 for quick prone, crouch action etc) The lads in my clan rave over it www.unitedforcesworld.com

Thanks Pauly, much much appreciated. Spotters fee can be paid...... Was built to keep, but lifestyle changes (loss of kneecap) dictate that I cant ride again, hence it has to go. Can negotiate on price to a certain extent; bear in mind the 10g's of performance mods tho Unfortunately there is no computer involved (carbies FTW!!11!!), so I cant really say that this post is in the correct section, LOL.... plz excuse me Mr Demon-Moderator (although I did buy a lot of parts for the bike off ebay, hehehe)
-
not as yet, non-affordability issues (paid *poorly* monthly) will go to John at Hitech next month hopefully.... sad; time to find a new job. on topic - I lurve my computer. Last addition will be a G5 mouse sometime

Im only with telstra as I have a bundled package and get a small discount. * Foxtel for the kiddies and wife * Mobile phone $10 with same call credits for the wife (effectivly cost nuetral) * Home phone * Broadband for me I was putting it all on FBT here at work but took it away from myself (trying to get a payrise, somehow, lol), so come end of contract I'll be switching to 'Node for their adsl2 service I suppose.

lol, no not me mate; havent seen the need for a towbar as yet. although $395 doesnt seem too bad - where was that from?

Post A Pic Of Your Stagea Thread
Tangles replied to CruiseLiner's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Talk to member AMS ...... Cruisliner, looking good mate. Hope the engine goes all ok with the tune. With the autronics ecu, why not call Brett West here in Marion SA at Adelaide Performance Engineers (sa Autronic dealer) and ask for advice, re attessa? ummm - too keep me on topic, here goes -
Ummmm since I had the seat rails extended by 4cm, Ive found Ive got a wealth of room. With seat reclined back a bit I sit very very comfy, head doesnt touch the roof and arms are the perfect distance away from the steering wheel, however definately no room for a littl-e behind me with the seat fully extended back. But I had to extend the rails due to being a "one cap" (all you "two caps" out there will know what I mean) I owe it to myself that my knees have to be as comfy as possible. If you want a Skyline but feel the wagon is more practicle, then mate go for it, the seat rails arnt actually all that hard to extend by a little bit, and a little extension goes a long way in terms of seated comfort. Dam this two-cap world, damn you to hell. One caps FTW!!!111!!!111!!!!! Go you One-Caps

see too many 'lines to spot em all day. nice one this morning was the white R33 with white 17's, looked very clean. saw a silver S2 Stagea this week parked at A&R's at Edwardstown and the same car I reckon a week ago down south, I was parked infront of ABS with my S1 Stagea and got a friendly beep.

Need Expert Advice, Wierd Issue. Blown Turbo
Tangles replied to Pauly33GTS-t's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
My armchair-expert advice (as a slide turbo user) is to grab a turbo of Aaron (slide) here on these forums, awesome things they are. Might take some time, but send him a PM to see where he is with stock and order timeframes etc. Slide FTW!!11!!!11 As for the boost going straight past 10psi, sounds like unlimited boost, as paulr33 mentioned.... seems as if they have hooked up the vacuum lines incorrectly. I did this once myself and was lucky to notice the boost guage showing me 1 bar of boost, in my instance it was like this for 1 second but didnt blow the turbo (45000kms less usage then yours - may have had something to do with it). When turbo came off I was surprised to see that it was in such good condition, 66skylineGT took one look and snapped it up for his Rb20det '69 'Line. Damn man, probably a fault from the exhaust place - get the vacuum lines checked out asap (I recommend in their presence) by a skyline mechanic (maybe a local sau expert?) and go from there. -
