  1. is the engine free of excessive blow-by?
  2. it's obvious he's not serious; it doesn't have the obligatory full-width RMW 'longhorn steer' sticker on the back window wannabe
  3. doesn't say much for Button, does it? who are they both driving for respectively this year?
  4. I'll see your paper and raise you...
  5. ah yeah, for sure- just thought you might have harboured some specific grudge against him just like Webber, He'll certainly never have a WDC to his name
  6. :laughing-smiley-014:
  7. I've driven 997 Carreras and sat in an R35: GT-R craps all over Porsche for interior feel and modernity of design
  8. whyzat?
  9. some serious neg camber on those front wheels would have to assume understeer is out of the question at high speed with that and those canards!
  10. coolant in the radiator or just water?
  11. Now they can go back to doing what they do best- being an engine supplier only Instead of running a busted-arse race team
  12. glad i didn't go
  13. the Motec is better by nautical miles /thread that was easy...
  14. oh well =[ go you good thing!
  15. I'd take 15W-50 Mobil 1 over anything
  16. which will be even more impressive when the GT-R in question is ~250kg lighter...
  17. maybe they can just, you know, accidentally leave the '08 rear wing on
  18. But they are race spec brakes- 380mm two-piece rotors front and rear with 6 piston front and 4 piston rear monobloc calipers. The same sort of thing they have on V8 Taxicars. It's just the pad composition and extra 400kgs that make life hard for the GT-R at a track like Bathurst. I think a pad with a much less street friendly heat range (say 300-1000 degrees) would help things a lot (and more extreme cooling ducting for the centre of the discs).
  19. It's because it's so much more expensive than anything else that Nissan sells, but when compared to it's competition (which it beats), it's a bargain
  20. Got it yesty- They really don't rate the brakes during the last half of the Bathurst lap in the R35. But weighing over 1700 kegs, you'd expect that. The write up on the Grp A 32 was good- learned a few points I didn't know. I have the Wheels with a red R32 GT-R on the cover with the heading 'Godzilla!', no I won't sell it to you Used to have an issue of aussie Road&Track with Rob Luck test driving the Winfield 32, but that one got ruined ages ago
  21. nice the champ will come through with the goods for you
  22. I don't reckon- Heikki has more base talent than Webz. Watch him shine this year.
  23. Really looking forward to this season *slaps on another cravings patch* Putting even $1 down to get a gorilla back would be a complete waste of moneh. Webber will never be WDC. Etch it in diamond.
  24. it's most likely the breather is being held open by crud and the oil is misting out. check that first
  25. Spotted the only Stag I've ever bothered to remember the rego of yesterday- BHI97P, on River Road West. Anyone on here?
