yes you need to enable the boost control kit and have the boost control kit installed for it to display boost pressure BOOST PRESSURE is not the same as the djetro map sensors "PRESSURE" that is, when you using the Djetro PFC you don't get the "BOOST" signal for free you still need to buy the kit and have the optional map sensor installed
