  1. (random spam tactics) OK now that i have your attention ive fitted some ferrodo's 4000s (i think) to the front of my gtst and they are hopeless. I've lost a ton of braking power and they just dont seem to pull the car up at all. The guy at repco said they are dustless and wont make the wheels look poo and preform really well. After bedding them in and following the proper procedure they seem to just skate across the disc itself instead of biting hard. When i washed the car the rotors turned a urine yellow colour which looks like its from the pads and the dust. The wheels also look horrible even just after like 2 weeks of the new pads. Has anyone used these ferrodos and found them to be poo ?

  3. hi donny it sounds like you have an fcpro then, you can check this by going to ETC, VERSION and it will have PRO in the name if its a pro official version

  6. The ecu wont loose its tune or forget so its purely just how you are driving and possibly a bad batch of fuel 500 k;s to a tank is great so dont worry there. have a read of the powerfc faq (in my sig) it will cover most of your questions

  10. when you fit the z32 you select Z32 AFM from the menu and the car will run and drive but it will need a retune as the load axis is different the preselect menu lets you run the car with the new afm and the base settings are spot on but it does need a dyno tune done

  12. my understanding is the hicas diagnostic is part of the hicas computer in the boot and nothing to do with the main ecu all the main ecu does is relay the signals (tps, speed) to the hicas computer in the boot an let it do whatever it feels so yes the hicas diagnostic shoud be suported and it should work fine, if in doubt get a stock ecu and try it with that besides what are you trying to "diagnose" exactly?

  14. yeah standard turbos will not make 300kw at 15psi, i dont think anyone has said that here. 2530s at 15psi will make well over 300kw i would expect, gt-ss make just on 300kw maybe the dyno was done in 3rd gear, maybe its got tons of correction, maybe its a legit figure
  15. i dont see why its so funny? 15psi on a gt40 is different to 15psi on standard compressor wheel if he has upgraded twins then why is it so funny (or insanely impossible) that he is making 300awkw at that pressure? all the pressure does is dictate compressor wheel speed which dials in the desired airflow based on the compressor map

  17. yeah the UP button will be stuck down (or the contact is) shouldnt be too hard to sort out
  18. if you hold down up the up button during bootup this comes so either stop holding down UP or open up the hand controller something could be stuck under the up button contact which the FC thinks your holding down UP at startup

  21. In response to andrew opening 300 odd threads that the vic guys can't drive we though its time to put it all to rest. We are coming up to NSW next month nov 7th to 10th to race at wakefield and eastern creek. So as we can't drive we trust you will all be there to show us how its done..... We will be in goulburn/wakefiled from tuesday until friday staying at the wakefield cabins. If you are going to come down for a race or catch up or anything let us know. I'm not competing just going up for a week away off work and some fun.   22. yes you will need a standalone ecu to support it you wont gain any power moving from stockers to nismo ones they just give more tuning resolution
  23. yes you can, but you need the djetro version the normal version is ljetro and uses air flow meters the djetro version uses map sensors
  24. stop trashing the car until you get it tuned properly thats one of the first things covered in the faq if it keeps knocking and you insist on nailing it use the temporary adjust to back out some timing, dont adjust fuel use the temp ign adjust (in the faq) and take out about 3 or 4 degress ign timing
  25. throw the hyper sfc in the bin, no one in australia will be able to tune it and get it right either buy; remap your stock ecu (limite local tuners) safc (should be tons of local tuners) greddy emanage (make sure you can find a local tuner first) stand alone ecu (motec, autronic, powerfc, wolf 3d,) - ask some guys in your area what they tune
