  1. have a read of the powerfc faq in my signature it comes the powerfc to some other other more common ecu's on the market, might be worth a read
  2. yes you can choose the power intake when you change the airfilter but its not required and it probably wont make any difference, i dont know any one thats done it and gained anything
  3. double check but i remember reading that having the sensor in the exhaust and no power certainly can kill it then wideband sensor i had in my car was hard run off the battery terminals so you couldnt cut the power to it this also made sure the sensor was heated up correctly
  4. there are some very specific guidelines to follow and take note of when using a wideband 02 sensor the main ones i can think of is mount the sensor in the right position (location and the way it faces) the sensor must always have power when running be closest to the turbo outlet as possible that being said ive had a wideband sensor up my exhaust muffle and it worked fine
  5. the best i can come up with is z32 with safc and powerfc
  6. hi, just read the faq, its covered numerous times look under technical issues
  7. congrats - all the best
  8. no there isnt an auto skyline version of the powerfc there is for toyota however as lots of toyota's are auto and i guess the code/logic is maybe a bit easier
  9. the fc tune stuff looks good and ive been waitinfg for fast hatch to do it as well the latest fc boxes have usb support and theyve done a new major release or datalogit which has nuked lots of the common bugs, the software should be mainstream stable now id much prefer to get fc pro (english version) working
  10. when find out tell me ill put it on my site
  11. well it depends as PIM1 wont increase if boost never does and you don't plan on going past 23psi then its fine theres probably a bit of room for a few more psi but more much and you will probably max it out maxing it out means 5.0v flatline, and even then its just the same as its doing now, shoot across the load axis so in summary, its fine and get it tuned now, you can use the correct table to shift it up and down on the load axis map but remember that once target boost hits the PIM wont change, and therefore it wont move up or down on the map
  12. my vote is in - get em guys!!! there are a fair few pics on my homepage if you are some photos - http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com
  13. id say its bogus or been resprayed apexi made a limited build of 100 d1 spec hand controlers which were gold
  14. if its $70 then it would be fake a working hand controller is worth about $250
  15. no idea to be honest, it could be legit there was a limited spec run of d1 hand controllers how much is it
  16. hi chi, that looks cool, is it on ebay? id be interested in buying it
  17. hi its covered in the powerfc faq but to reset it ; ETC, DATA INIT, choose YES, press NEXT power the car off next time you power the car back on perform the self idle learn procedure (also in the powerfc faq under install)
  18. hi driftmiester, no it wont, its just normal detonation occuring follow the standard guidelines in the powerfc faq on how to debug knocking no the z32 afm just allows for more tuning resolution and nothnig else, its the same size as the standard rb25 AFM so it wont add power
  19. hi chi, are you sure its silver? can you get a photo of it ? if it is FCC3 then it should work fine on ECR33 style powerFC
  20. did you see my last post? is PIM1/PIM2 actaully maxing at 5v?
  21. yeah that rear black panel is standard on GTR
  22. nah just pads got the same dba 4000's from ages ago on the front
  23. have a read of the powerfc faq in my sig it covers a section that address changes that are set lost when the car is powered off look under troubleshooting and technical issues
  24. ah yeah so thats the scale then and correction that doesnt mean your maxing the map sensors have you got a data log of the run? check out what voltage PIM1/PIM2 get to, if they hit 5v they are maxing
  25. how are you determining they are maxing out ? do you see PIM1 hit 5v? do you see something else?
