  1. a few options come to mind relocate the Q45 circuit to after intercooler pipe work and see if it helps (might not) run twin q45's and use a piggyback inline device (safc will work) to average the two into a single afm signal run a twin afm ecu and run twin afms there were mentions and rumors of a batch of q45's that are near or in some cases have less resolution than the z32 it could be one of these
  2. thanks berin - love you long time we will be heading up departing melb just after 4pm so see you when you get there
  3. please see the main convoy thread - re: if you can help bring an esky
  4. hi, as the saturday is going to be roasting we need some assistance with esky capacity i can only fit 3 eskies in my skyline. can someone (anyone) please bring 1 large esky, standard size please post up here if you can bring one so we don't get 18 people bringing eskies but if someone could bring 1 up or even 2 at the most, that would be much appreciated your generosity wont go un-noticed thanks
  5. from memory the offset number you are talking about is only visible if the EVC is in manual mode if the learn has been done properly and you arent in manual mode you cant see the duty if i go into mode on mine i can set boost, boost warning, and boost scramable setting & duration i cant see offset on mine, but i do recall seeing that when i skipped auto mode and went into manual mode from memory to go between the modes you hold down mode for 5 seconds i think and it cycles between EVC or manual mode check the III manual its on my website paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com
  6. to known differences to this date the misfire well known bug still appears to be present in the latest rb26 code apexi offer for the rb26 cubes got a latest new rb26 pfc from apexi and it was 8.x something with the bug still present
  7. PFCGTRRB26L should be the newer style powerfc with N003 hand controller im pretty sure (FCC 3) the older style may be; PFCRB26 and its probably with N001 hand controller which is like FCC NT or FCC 1
  8. oh ok easy then most workshops i would expect maybe $80 to plonk it on the dyno and do a diag check & review the tune then they could advise from there check out re customs dr drift created recommended powerfc workshops
  9. what ecu? if its the stock ecu most places can't tune it unless you goto a remap specific place such as dr drift if you just want a dyno check to see how the car's health is then any workshop can do it and i would expect maybe $80 for this ?
  10. i have the EVC III and i have set it up from scratch yes the learning mode is abosolutely essential for stable boost control, if you havent dont this or dont think its been done then you should do it it clears all the previous settings and learns your actuator step up rate so its handy to do offset or probably duty usually refers to a open:closed rate in a ratio format - i think anyway stock boost would depend on the car & actuator setup , i think for GTR it would be 12psi so around 0.80 bar

  23. ive got the vafc installed so will try and play with the VCT soon if im brave enough for those interested the vafc can pressure from an external map sensor and display it in kgcm2, psi or kpa (you can choose) so thats very handy it also gives you the choice of scale from the sensor so say 0 to 1.0kgcm2 or 0 to 30psi
  24. Just a friendly reminder the final round of SAU VIC's Carsales DECA series is on at shepparton again.
