ask the engine builder if the engine is only a week old it could be anything and u should tell them straight away to make sure its covered etc

as the others have said there are a few options they are a legit bosch part but u wont be able to go direct to bosch so try some of the resellers like petroject, repco, autobarn etc last resort would be a jap place like nengun or greenline you can find the plug from any holden wreckers, its the same as the vl plug

u can just cut the power to it

turn the avcr off or run the lowest possible setting it should run off the actuator or gate spring if boost is low and stable that will confirm the avcr settings are at fault

learn how to adjust the duty cycle on the avcr search for the documentation on google.com

what about using thermo fans behind the core to suck air thru combined with a water spray kit you could use this at the start line before you fang off and it would do a pretty big temp drop the air suck from the thermo's and water spray should make it cold as long as the fans are ducted correctly good idea or not - not sure ?

hi, i think you may be confused or getting mixed up. the only nismo afm's i know of are the 65mm GTR ones your standard afm for the GTST is 80mm so you wont have a 65mm nismo one on there, that would make no sense you probably just have a standard afm, take a photo of it please and post it up, be sure to get a photo of the label on the afm as the colour helps us identify what afm you are using. if its just the stock one (Blue or pink) then you can grab any R33 afm (matching colour) and youll be fine - no ecu or tricks needed here is a table of the common AFM's and what they look like - which one does your car have ?

mine died and misfire city on 12psi stock turbo 180,000 on the clock splitfires sorted it out

just do the powerfc first off the bat youll never look back with the safc and avcr youll fork out the cash set it all up then want to change to the powerfc & boost kit the boost kit is the same as the avcr without gear judge and the pretty screen ask anyone who has fitted a pfc - theyve probably never looked back

your idea is pretty good the concept etc is there just to note - datalogit does this for you in real time with all the data so you dont have to note stuff down etc and interpolate cells with max knocking basically you build a knock map in auto pilot mode and adjust from there in some of my cells im near 50deg timing but thats on light load and under 4000rpm on max load i can only do about 25 deg ign timing the idea i did and followed was increaser the timing below 4000rpm until it knocked consistently i didnt go over 4000rpm and do the same thing living in fear of killing the engine

Was just thinking there are some really good opening scenens with some great movies as well (usually). These can be funny scenes, really scary ones or even a good mood setter. The opening scene is pretty important. I'd be interested to know what other people think are good movies with opening scenes (or even the credits) The first one I can think of is Cannonball Run with the lambo contach and the cop chase (trans-am cop car). The movie goes from the 20th century fox logo to the sound of the contach on full song - its great. Who else knows of some good opening scenes for movies
