  1. no, nothing differently really, i drive fairly relaxed, 40psi at all 4 tyres, constant throttle (dont vary TPS lots while criusing) 02 feedback is on with default 02 co-efficient 1.047 from memory in datalogit and thats in on light cruise on the INJ map im near 0.94x ish and sometimes lower most people i see who get poo economy are still like 1.000 on light cruise on the INJ map which is stoich i think i go near 16 AFR on light cruise, so that would explain some of it
  2. your IGN map under 3k looks fairly relaxed you should dial in some more IGN timing will give the car some good response
  3. its about the same - not much has changed ive done some knocking fix but thats about it the INJ map is still the same im getting about 460kms on a full tank with city driving etc
  4. you can get a stand alone or just a piggyback stand alone check out powerfc for piggyback check out safc or emanage
  5. stock bov is the best (no joke) get a intercooler kit fitted for around $550 these days have a look at your local workshops or even get a just jap kit (www.justjap.com) exhaust should be around $1200 fitted ish for a good 3" inch turbo back again check out some local workshops or a jap brand exhaust then get a piggyback ecu system -> safc tuned around $450 ish should net you around 190rwkw and lots more zest
  6. im making 260hp at the wheels on the stock turbo at 12psi
  7. yeah lots - its all covered in the powerfc faq have a read of it - its in my signature
  8. that would depend on the car, its current state etc id expect at least $1k for a 100,000 service for a typical skyline
  9. from my testing on my pc, sata is faster is most typical situations
  10. ive got a mate with the same problem - identical to what you said funnily enough we put an rb20 ap eng powerfc in his car on thursday night and it fixed his idle he also had starting problems, it would never start with the stock ecu, he had to almost flood it (carby style) to make it start it started first crank with the powerfc let us know if you find somthing
  11. from what ive seen a single 15k scsi disc is no match for the humble sata II disks these days they come with 8mb cache usually nowadays and can do much faster writes my 15k is beaten by my pair of sata mirror disks in write speed easily, due to the cache on the disks put 10 x 15k disks in an array and youll see the benefits of 15k rpm weve got a sun box thats got 48 x sata II disks that thing flies - you can max out the backplane as its got 6 sata II controllers
  12. yeah it sucks a bit hey, but what can u do i might just put it on ebay for starting price fof $700 with 19" CRT as a bonus (worth jack all) and see where it goes- i can get a new decent PC dual core amd etc with a 19 or 22" lcd for like $1600 ish so thats reasonable
  13. it could be the std boost protection in the ECU commonly known as excess air flow protection or boost cut or rich and retard if that what it is youll need a piggyback controller to work around it or something to cap the airflow (boost cut defencer) or you can change the ecu. keep turning the boost down until you work around the problem, youll find its probably abnout 10psi also make sure the lines are done correctly and you arent running unlimited boost (if you are, its bad and can be fatal)
  14. haha eat gate love it
  15. ive never heard of a PFC dud either, thats not to say they dont exist, just never heard or seen of one i mean its like any device really, dead on arrivals do exist, just not common one would expect its certainly harder and more expensive, but they are still out there
  16. yeah didnt think it was worth a lot it was 4k new when i brought it its just a shame cos it still flies its just loud and noisy as would much perfer a tiny dual core system ah well
  17. thinking of selling it and buying a new PC how much u reckon my pc is worth dual amd 2000mhz CPU's 1GB ddr registered ram 18GB 15k scsi disk extra 18GB 10k scsi disk adaptec scsi controller 64bit intel pro 100 64bit network card usb 2.0 4 port controller 3 ware sata raid controller 2 port 2 x 320gb sata disks 8mb cache 1 x cdrom 1 x cd burner 1 x dvd burner 1 x card reader 1 x DAT scsi tape drive (crappy type) here's the original parts list i know most of them are old / outdated nowadays System assembled by EYO CPU AMD K7 Athlon MP 2000+ , Retail Box Micro-Star Socket A M/B K7D Master Dual CPU Motherboard Apacer DDR-SDRAM 333MHz PC2700 512MB Leadtek WinFast A250 LE TD GeForce4 Ti4200 VIVO 128MB. B1 the extras that were changed from when i broughjt it were new CPU coolers, extra SCSI hdd, sata raid kit, 512mb more ram, 64bit network card and usb 2.0 controller & card reader the system is still fast as and is absolutely fantastic for true SMP programs (sound forge 32, visual 3d rendering crap, and compressiong movies etc, tmpegenc is a great SMP app too). its very noise as the can has about 7 fans inside it. its a heavy case and its a large black tower case with a transparent perspex window. needs to go on the floor
  18. id love an WRC style turbo torque city
  19. keep stock cams get VCT working with an aftermarket cam controller if you have to tune the crap out of the low load ign timing - 7x7 should do it on the IGN map - go as far as 50deg in some spots with 100ron and youll love it
  20. its important to note the flow rates of the walbro's are rated at 15v if you install a wallbro in your std skyline it only gets 12v so you either need to step up to the next model or run direct wiring from the battery most people dont do this so it could explain why its "performing less than expected"

    Hello

a normal digital SLR on the right settings, a $100 ebay camera mount and just the right settings on the camera i can help you its pretty easy
  22. its $4k - of course its a scam - im surprised you even tried to ring etc
  23. if your going to go for the 0.68 rear i would maybe loko at the GT-RS might have better response with a 0.64 a/r rear - the compressor might be more matched/suited 550cc's nismo's are fine and direct fit for rb25 as long as you get Skyline R33 ones - ie: dont get SR20 550cc's
  24. hey nick, this is fine - we can sort it out - and will have all the merchandise up for sale too
