  1. the state of the tune will decide on engine damage get the tune checked by a good local tuner with an AFR plot to see how the car is setup they should then recommend where to go from there to make it safe
  2. only 2 people ? poor form!!

often overlooked but check your tyre pressure if its mega rock hard you can try loosing some pressure 30psi should be soft 35psi should be good all round and 40psi will be rock hard you might be able to find a comprimise
  4. we will be at ...... ......... - you can't miss it really
  5. id say around 200kw + ish is around the max i wouldnt use it with a larger turbo basically its probably pretty good & fine for the std turbo 220kw is do-able with std pump - it just depends - i mean it could be on it's knees and only just making it or it could be fine a dyno plot with afr and fuel pressure will tell you all you need to know i guess its important to note if it cant keep up and you lean out and you dont notice - rebuild time
  6. the pfc faq is offline due to a forum bug - it should be fixed soon
  7. this is a rare sports car http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=11832
  8. you might be able to use the ztune style hard pipe kit its on www.nengun.com and i think the super suction kit or power intake includes the afms, the pipes and brakets etc its a complete kit - around $500 ish for the djetro version? nengun has it as well
  9. reliability is fine - you wont have an issue with that youll just suffer increased intake temps ive never really been a fan of the smics due to their location and lack of airflow
  10. yeah its nothing new bring back the vl turbo cop cars i say
  11. yeah thats coming later on - at the moment i just jumble up the order as needed
  12. this is certainly possible - have a look at the product matrix to find out if its supported by your version of FC pro & cable
  13. try an ecu reset when the car is at operating temp
  14. The GTSS's will do exactly that, widen the powerband more with same wind up response of the stock turbos they are i think 0.60a/r the stockers are 0.48/ar so its only a tiny step up. they are known to be the best turbo's cloest to stock and they will max out around 300kw - definetly not 400kw no twin setup on the 2.6 will make boost off idle - you would need stroker setup, 3 litre etc
  15. youll probably find the issue with the SMIC is its location, not the core itself if you can setup some good ducting to force air into the car (not just the hope for the best strategy) it might work better and drop temperature more

  18. hmm fair enoguh - i thought it would have performed considerably better - it must have crap average power on a cold track at heathcote i managed 13.7 @ 105mph with wheelspin in first (stupid diff)
  19. good update today updated "I have the older PowerFC that did not come with a hand controller can I buy a new hand controller separate and use that?" updated "Does the PowerFC have limits?" updated "Help! My car doesn't start once I've installed the PowerFC" updated "Where can I get my PowerFC tuned and how much will it cost me?" updated "My idle is really crappy and it hunts around a lot when on idle. What can I do?" updated "My fuel economy is terrible and I just had a complete tune, Whats wrong?" updated "Boost display without the Boost Control Kit?" updated "Hybrid Apexi PowerFC models and mix n match models, can it be done?" updated "My Skyline R32 GTR has a wierd misfire problem, what's wrong?" updated "Is there a replacement hand controller screen?" updated "I have fried my PowerFC. Is it fixable?" updated "How do I debug knocking, how can I make it go away?" updated "PowerFC Pro - Launch Control" updated "I want to go EPROM/Firmware hacking, Tell me how"
  20. only 215kw? thats mega low i thought it would have peaked near 250kw anyway yeah post up a timeslip, nah it wont have 0 to 100kmh
  21. jokes aside does anyone have any data for 1/4 or 0 to 100 etc with a KKR setup? i would be curious - i would expect the KKR to be faster on 1/4 given it should have some chunky top end on the street i would expect the stock turbo to destroy it to 100km/h easily my PB for stock turbo 0 to 100 is 4.8 - anyone got any data for the KKR ? that was a long time ago - i should try again as i can launch better these days
  22. hi allen R33 GTST stuff should fit fine - as should GTR stuff too the GTR rotors are a bit larger - the factory 33 GTST brakes are pretty strong you should be able to find them on ebay pretty easily I would have though? theres quite a few brembo kits on ebay these days if you are up for fitting a GTR front kit to yours theres even evo8 brembo kits if you can sort out the offset / and right patterns etc how much do u want to spend
  23. you dont have to have it tuned- but its a good idea there are better ecu's i would expect than the emanage - ask around, being in japan you would have access to everything - ask for pricing and options on the HKS fcon
  24. no its fine, it will work etc and make some good power just bear in mind you can't use a manual based ECU such as a PowerFC etc as some of them are auto ecu's only you should look at an FCON pro since you are in japan as they are locally supported and piggyback onto the stock ECU (which retains auto control)
  25. keep em coming
