  1. never heard of the sfc hyper but you can fit gtr injectors and use a resistor pack and then remap the stock ecu that might be an easier fit and more easier to buy gtr injectors stock rb20 injs are 270cc and rb26 ones are 460cc so its a good upgrade
  2. suicide with stock pump and no injectors get a new pump, get some bigger injectors (stockies are only 270cc) and then get it tuned properly (a real ecu or remap) until then its suicide got knows what the afr's are like
  3. given the number of cars for sale out there is there a reason you're choosing auto and 4 door? do you care about resale value later? i think a lot of people who choose auto either convert it or sell it to move to manual
  4. check the markings on the front compressor covers the stockers have garrett M 24 and are 0.42a/r front and 0.48 a/r rear
  5. the gtr pump fits fine, i did it myself and im a mechanical retard just swap it over and it sits a little crooked but still works just the same its not a big issue dude, as long as its secure and doesnt flop around etc
  6. Standard parts off 1997 R33 GTST Series 2 - rear rotors (just machine 'em and good to go) - $50 - front seats (mild wear and stiching undone on drivers side bolster) - $80 - coilpacks (misfire at 12psi on full load, but fine for stock applications) - $80 No need for pics as they are standard parts. Can supply pics of stitching on seat tear if you really want. In melbourne (tullarmarine) so you decide. I'm at the sau vic meetings every month so we can organise to meet there if you like
  7. hi andy you can find manifolds from a few places, gcg.com.au have them also check out calaisturbo.com.au as they would have some good contacts for suitable RB manfiolds or you can check out the sau official business traders. for the turbo it is much the same, ideally but the turbo and manifold from the same place, this will ensure the flange matches and its the correct fit. you should make sure you are familiar with the common turbocharger technology before you go and spend your $
  8. by bending the afm signal, it affects load axis placement, which in turn affects timing so it does adjust the timing just not directly
  9. why would u want to use consult ? the powerfc has its own built in diagnostics use the hand controller and check out ETC, SENSOR SW CHECK it will highlight which sensor is toast when the engine check light comes on
  10. nah just the seats.....

  14. yeah im keen to see these new wheels and ash ill have your powerfc as i couldnt make it last night you guys can also check my new gtr seats
  15. rwkw doesnt have much correlation to fuel economy unless you are like 2000cc or insanely large injectors its how you drive and how you yank the throttle cable and how well its tuned there should be no reason you cant get 450ks to tank with 300rwkw
  16. i wish my wife was this dirty
  17. the auto mode is hopeless dont bother with it just press right with the handbrake up and press right again to change the mode you should just leave it on hard set mode and choose say 30 seconds the auto mode you can set minimum idle to say 30 seconds if u want but it will end up dialing it to around 2 minutes on normal settings so its a waste
  18. i guess youll need to find the cause of the failure there will be so once you find that then you can look at who is responsible i mean if theyve gone and change your oil and water lines and left one off and its cooked the turbo or theyve refitted your intake piping and one of the mech's accidently dropped a nut into the compressor snout and when they fired it up, its shat a cartridge then sure they are responsible. but youll have to certainly give good grounds for them being a fault. a tiny spec of dirt could get in the intake you use (if its a pod etc) and get into the cartridge bearings, which could cause failure. that wouldnt be there fault but you make think its defintely their faults. its a big grey area
  19. its in the powerfc ask for the special tricks section one of the rx7 guys did it

  22. happy birthday all the best & have a good one
  23. this will depend on the # of pins on the socket and your powerfc both should have the 5 pin kit but check (there is also the 3 pin kit) the socket next to the hand controller port is either 5 or 3 pin check what yours has (should be 3) then check what he has (should be 3 also) if they are both the same (either 3 or 5 pin) then its fine and direct fit

  25. there would be better suited twins out there, the 2530s will have better response the 2540s are a suspect known laggy combination so avoid them if you can
