  1. sell it and buy a GTR probably cheaper and easier better resell value and better performance
  2. do the hks t51rs and hks t04z run VNT?
  3. got your pm and replied
  4. please let me know if its wrong i still have the TPS hack applied to my wiring loom and it works fine doesn't miss a beat and ALSD never fails like it used to i dont see why it would be different, but certainly possible

  6. there are more differences between BB and plain/journal
  7. its the same as using series 1 rb25afm on series 2 as series 1 and r32s loom have a split earth for signal and 12v so you just join them togerher, it should be ok hope it doesnt blow up, but in all seirousness have seen other diagrams like that. have a look at the site in my sig, then goto diagrams, nissan oem airflow meter diagrams, should help

    Xmas

merry christmas all. hope you have a wonderful day and get all the presents you hope for. went out last night to check some of melbournes christmas lights for something to do check out this house in vermont like f**kin disney land, it was intense
  9. of course the safc wont work with bigger injectors the user doesnt need to change injectors it will move the ign timing around as the afm signal it bent as the load is moved around, so to are the ign/inj load points
  10. why do you think the safc cant get to 250rwkw? all it does it bend the afm signal. sure its a comprimise but all of the solutions are comprimises. i dont see why a particular ecu would be limited to a power level, its just ign and inj values. i see no reason why the safc could not get a customer to 250rwkw. it will be a more tedious to do the initial tune as youll get to a point where it will advance the timing too much and induce detonation, but you should be able to get 250rwkw.
  11. ive since turned 02 feedbackon and i am seeing good econoy for city / traffic driving.am seeing consistent 400's
  12. im not having a persona attack i just think there is a reason for the power gain but like u said, it could be the reduction in resistance
  13. if he went from a poor mans standard gtst side mount stuck on the side there getting minimal airflow to a better/larger core in the front of the car getting much more airflow then i would agree, but is it really that much of a differenece? 30kw is a massive change, surely something else was changed at the same time? for a 30kw gain i would have expected something like this; previous intercooler compress outlet temp: 70deg intercooler in temp: 65deg intercooler out temp: 62deg new intercooler compress outlet temp: 70deg intercooler in temp: 65deg intercooler out temp: 35deg then yes i would agree that a gain like that is possible as the air has a significant temperature drop. how bad was the last core ?
  14. uas have spacers to use GTR rotors on gtst calipers
  15. max power isnt always that important, its average power and how the car drives. with stand alone (or a full remap) you can add in a bunch if ign timing on the load points and the car really comes alive. it will drive like a different car once all the load points have been set. the beauty with the FC is that you can do it yourself on the hand controller
  16. i dont believe it for a second, did you change anything else to get the 31kw? did you measure in and out temps befor and after for both the cores?
  17. curious how you gained 31kw from an intercooler change. what else was changed at the time ?
  18. agreed why be locked into only tuners who do remapping? with the powerfc you can choose your tuner get configurable engine flash light control (inj, afm, knock) and the user has full control + view in real time of whats going on i see no reasons/advantages to go for a remap
  19. do you plan to turn the car off after a few hot runs to see if the bearings fail? thats a serious question
  20. i seen this every day on the way to work my life is dangerous yo! i have a 4" canon boost guage on the dash i drift n slide n my stylez go up if u see da police u best be runn'n coz ya'll 8'n good enuff y0
  21. if it was my workshop and you came to me as a customer here's what i would be suggesting 1. fuel pump GTR33 fuel pump (good for 300rwkw) and direct fit, if you are worried about using an on old pump then bosch 040 2. injector duty & max the stock injectors will max around approx 250rwkw give or take. it depends on the tune, and fuel reg. we would upgrade the reg to the nismo item (direct fit) and tune based on that 3. power and boost pressure you should be able to make 240rwk to 250rwkw ish on your car depending on tune, engine condition etc. i would expect to run around 1.3bar on the this at the most, perhaps 1.2bar but boost shouldn't decide your power goal or how the car will be setup. dyno it and tune it at 1 bar and see what comes out, usually after 1 bar every psi extra on a highflow usually only gives very small gains, but worth a try anyway. 1 bar is probably a good indication of power made -summary - add gtr 33 fuel pump (or 040 if u want new). add nismo fuel reg. full tune at 1 bar and see what comes out, montoring knocking (on the safc), fuel pres (dyno sensor), inj duty (consult cable) and try and tune as best you can i would go for a 2nd hand safc II the reason being cost and simplicity. a piggyback solution should be simple and cheap. if it doesnt fit under those then dont bother, i wouldnt bother with emanage or fcon as your budget probably doesnt allow for it and the safc II will give you 90% of what you need for a less cost. i dont play the whole "the top 7 gtrs use this ecu" blah blah crap, her car its not going to be a top 10 gtr nor is she in japan so its irrelevant. any ecu can make a car go fast, its how well its tuned and of course additional features it has, but that being said i dont think it applies in this case
  22. get full comp, can u afford to throw 15k in the bin? if yes then get 3rd party, if no then get full comp just cars will be your best bet racv wont touch grey imports btw manual is more fun and has better resale value
  23. run a twin 2.25" in system
  24. maybe a 2nd have evo intercooler ?
