  1. go bris, its your birthday, go bris, its your birthday have a good one, will see u soon
  2. do you honestly need it? why not just trust the controller and get on with driving? if the controller cant be trusted then dont use it. i see no need to watch boost all the time. mines set at 0.85bar and chances are if im on full load for a few seconds, it will be 0.85bar. but yes to answer the question, you can run both, but i see no need?
  3. the best way to judge economy is with a wideband but yeah i did the same, tuned afrs with closed loop off i wouldnt be using inj duty as the way to work out afrs, althought it can be used to "guesstimate" them
  4. will do, yeah crank it up
  5. good stuff, looks good, say hi to sad for us
  6. well yeah previously at 150km/h (5357rpm) it was making 150rwkw now its making at 150km/h (5357rpm) its making 450rwkw
  7. 180rwkw/4wkw before 5535rpm after 4392rpm gtr? gtst? why shoot8 ?
  8. well you can try and use one nismo then just hope its enough resolution for you
  9. yeah just run a single z32 and run its signal wire to both afm inputs on the powerfc/car loom. ie afm1 goes to afm1 and afm2 the powerfc just does an average across both afms to work out load anyway. you wont need datalogit for it at all, just wire it up and away u go, select z32 and your done. i wouldnt bother with custom hack up afm style pipe changing stuff, just go straight to z32
  10. was the vl auto, and probably shitter diff gears too so most likely dynoed in 2nd gear
  11. average milage is 400k's to a tank with 02 feedback turned on now nothing cheating about it the drive to sydney was with 02 feedback off ive since turned it on and i was a bit suprised its given me some better economy on the street ,even tho my normal afr's are pretty lean
  12. you need 1 day off surely you have 1 annual leave day
  13. a few things to note cruise AFRS should be tuned (usually under 3 grand is the spot to be tuning) make sure 02 closed loop feedback is on make sure you have a working 02 sensor (replace it every 50,000k's, if youve never done it, get a new one now) dont vary the throttle over and over, keep a steady foot dont boost the engine up, engine load uses more fuel sometimes it may be more economical to run at say a bit higher rpm and less load then lower rpm and higher load ie: 2900 rpm with load row 5 in 4th gear vs 2100 with load row 12 in 5th gear
  14. clutch air intake fuel pump no need for z32 if staying with stock turbo
  15. you are missing the point, the 2530 will be too small its probably smaller the stock the turbo the gtst single 2530 is only ever so slightly bigger than the stocker, if not ther same
  16. penis fuel = 93ron / 95ron
  17. as i thought, so if i was to use penis fuel and back out IGN timing vs using normal 98 ron i should see the same economy right ? assuming all things equal, lets say plonk the car on a dyno for 550ks back to back, one penis fuel with -5 iGN timing to take out detonation and the other normal timing back and 98ron
  18. gtr 2530s are not the same as the gtst 2530s gtr flange is T2 and gtst is t3/t25 so even if you change the flange it will still suck as the gtr 2530 twins are smaller/not the same as the gtst 2530
  19. i cannot see why a different octane rating would yield different economy? i would love for someone to show me how ? best ive got in my r33 pfc was 550k's to a tank, and it wasn't empty
  20. we have moved to 600 st kilda rd now
  21. the stock maps arent designed to make more power or drive better they are purely stock maps to give any one that installs it a safe and conservative tune, allowing them to drive to their dyno workshop and get it tuned correctly. it may make a bit more power, who knows, does it matter? probably not. it wont hit rich and retard as that doesn't exist driving on the stock maps is fine, and you can do so for a few days, weeks etc, its meant to be a conservative tune to suit most cars and conditions
  22. no it wont
  23. have a read of the powerfc faq in my sig, covers all of your questions & more http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/docs/...powerfc-faq.htm
