the auto pfc does look ace i must admit lots of auto logic control which u can set/change

im happy to add a section on the PFC faq for auto stuff but if some guy reads it, blows up his auto box then i dont wanna be responsible!

they are for certain engine/car models ie: an rx7 PFC wont work on a nissan sr20

80 is ideal PFC has correction to retard timing and richen up until it hits 80deg PFC retards 5 deg ign timing at 110deg by default

the default water temp retard is 5deg at 100deg water temp you guys should dial in more ign retard to protect the engine im gonna set mine at about 100 15deg 90 8deg

the boost control kit is on by default ETC, FUNCTION SELECT, BOOST CONTROL PRESS DOWN to turn it off

M24 is on the stock compressor housings im pretty sure, they could be highflows

is there a rule of thumb guide where intercooler is not required and its better for response to run without one ?

i run my datalogit on a PIII laptop and it runs fine on win98 make sure u get a true serial port and not a dongle usb one yeah its a shame its written in vb6, althought its not too bad i spose

some advice, dont bother with job sites its too relaxed and easy to just keep plodding along you need to get out and sell yourself speak to friends, post up on here what work you are after write letters to employers that you would like to work for even go and visit them, ask to speak to the employment manager and just have a general chat (i got my job at bigpond doing this). if i was looking for sysadmin work i would speak to companies i would be keen to work for, people like bigpond, optus, uecomm, motec, etc etc any companies that u know of who would be cool, i reckon that motec sysadmin job would have been ace, mainly cos im interested in engine management crap and sysadmin is good so good to combine both anyhoo a bit of advice

you can buy touchscreens on ebay for about 400 my friend put one in his 4x4 and uses it for gps shit but then with fctune what are u going to do ? i would be annoying ive used datalogit on my tv and the screen res is too low to be useful and then u gotta have a laptop/pc there too

so are you going to crash it still 'NS style yo'? our meetings are exactly that, a club meeting its not like a burnout comp in a car park so not sure what you plan to "crash" in on, but come along, you may be surprised

whilst i have thought of using datalogit or fctune or fc watch to achieve those goals its annoying for a few reasons, you have to have a pc, hack up the software n crap to auto start and so forth and have the screen on i simply want to relocate my FC screen to above my dash cluster, next to my RSM, so if this new blue screen works ill relocate that onto an safc stand and ill use the busted 26 FC contorller i have here for the official commander headsheel and mount it onto a stand, should look neat if it works

yeah but thats hacking a wiring loom with the power on ill have a friend swap the screen over i cant do that myself, the soldering is too small
