  2. g'day SAUers, in need of some freindly assistance for my miss-firing R32GTSt... Was hoping that someone would have a spare, WORKING coil pack lying around that i could come over and try a swap to see if it fixes my miss problem. If it does $50 is yours for it (i'm quite certain/hopeful it will) or alternatively if someonw has a spare, WORKING coil they just want to sell problem is i need it asap as i'm moving to QLD in mid jan (15th), so please reply here is you can help me out before i move thanks heaps, Warren.
  3. worst thing is that i will still be poor for the next 4 years no no mods untill i finish and can get paid then bring on the R34 GTR!!!!! or maybe V36 GTR by then...? thanks to all for their wishes...
  4. hmmmmmm...my low beams stay on when the high beams come on  maybe it was a complaiance shop thingo where each did it their own way? or maybe mine were re-wired in the past? oh well who cares?
  5. www.rb20det.com will be able to help you out with both those questions i think cheers, Warren.
  6. g'day SAUers, well my day has finally come... after a 8 hour test (200+ multiple choice questions and 2 essays), a 1 hour interview, and 10 months of waiting... I finally got accepted into medical school!! and will be a doctor in only 4 years!! that's right, the official SAU victoria club doctor (to fix people when their cars hit the wall - hopefully never!) only problem is that its at The University of Queensland, so it looks like i'm moving up to brisvegas . this obviously means i'm moving from family/friends, and i won't be attending many more meets except those held on school holidays although there is a plus side: the cops don't have poles up their arses in brisvegas you will still have to put up with me on the forums (unfortunately for you), and i will continue to be a paid-up SAU-VIC member for decades to come, but just that my base will be the land of bogans, babes and boobs well, just thought i would share the news. cheers, Warren Official SAU-VIC club doctor
  7. here's one: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...light=microtech and another in a package but he might separate them for you... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...light=microtech
  8. do you have the aircon thermo fan from the front of the radiator? how much? please PM me with a price...
  9. looking for a working second-hand aircon thermo fan that normally sits in front of the radiator anyone with a half-cut should have one lying around for next to nothing, or a six-pack of beers (planning on mounting it to my trannie cooler to dissipate some of that summer heat at the lights that the auto builds up) PM me or post here Melbourne sellers preferred cheers, Warren.
  10. doesn't have to be a 'good' or 'expensive' muffler... just make sure its new! cheers, Warren.
  11. *cough* supercharge it *cough*
  12. i tjhink your problem is your rear muffler my setup is a 3" dump/front in one and 3" cat-back mandrel bent with cannon muffler and resonator. custom made and brand new... NO DRONE AT ALL so i say leave the resonator in... if i were a betting man, i would have my money on your canon being old and stuffed and not muffling anything at all! (if its a jap exhaust, chances are it is 10 years old...)
  13. its my (and my girlfriends) 1 year anniversary on the 12th... do you think she would care if i took her to the BBQ as our day out?? he he might have to miss it or just pop in on the way to her house and make dinner arrangements with her instead of lunch...
  14. i'm in! sunday again? i prefer sundays to saturdays...
  15. i'm sure in that situation a million great things to say come to your head but its those people that can control how they act that get off with a warning... like you for example
  16. you actually said "yeah, the speedo works..." ? gotta be nice to them mate or they'll ream you
  17. please drive exactly the same as you drove in the test out on the roads - its no different just because there is no assessor in the car if i get hit by someone running a stop sign............
  18. yeah i already turn it to on for 3-4secs before i crank and injectors were cleaned earlier in the year and fuel filter is near-new and the car did this before it was changed are you able to elaborate more on the fuel tank breather line and where this is and how to check it? cheers, Waz.
  19. check my sig...
  20. ok i have a question about fuel tanks and fuel pressure... when you open the tank, on all cars is is suppost to release pressure?? is it suppost to happen on skylines?? the reason i ask is that on my brothers 300zx it makes the sound but not on mine... i am thinking to myself that i have a small leak somewhere that's releasing pressure in the fuel system I have terrible hard starting in the morning (but not when its just been driven) which makes me think that when the car stops for a long time the pressure goes and it needs some cranking to build up enough pressure to get the car going enough has anyone had this issue before? my thinking at this stage is to buy about 2m of fuel hose and 10 clamps and replace all the fuel lines in the engine bay in case its a hairline crack or a dodgy hose end (eg cracked) or something like that... what do you think? cheers, Warren.
  21. any more info on the car? or a dyno sheet?
  22. maybe a loose wire in the ECU loom?? its not unheard of...
  23. oh shit i have to work on tuesday night sorry guys but have a beer for me
  24. the rb20det is NOT a curse! on and nice looking engine, Nick - its great to have you back on the road...
  25. some great discussion going on here guys! anyone got any more comments? i'm thinking of taking my coil packs out this week to give them a coat of aryldite + electrical tape (read the thread in the maintenance section about it) and if its still missing then changing the plugs again. I don't think its a gap issue as it happens at idle and not above 4000rpm like most missfires... haven't heard anything from Sydneykid yet... were are you, gary?
