yeah i have that cup holder you descibe, but i thought it might be aftermarket... it says skyline on it, but it just slots into the centre bit doesn't look nice at all

g'day, being new to QLD and living on-campus at university, i have no access to a hose or anywhere to wash my car back in melb, there were heaps of places were you wash your car yourself... like a row of washing bays attached to eachother (usually next to servo's) you could take your car, put a couple of dollars in the machine and use the high pressure hose and soap etc. is there anywhere like this near St Lucia?? i found a place near the RBWH that charges $10 for a hand-wash but that's been my best luck yet and i don't want to have to go back and pay $10 for a stupid wash! thanks for your help, Warren.

are you putting a GTR grill too? looks a bit 'empty' in the middle there... also, is it just the light and angle or is your LHS headlight crooked?

oooooh, that's below the belt! what about some bonnet vents instead? i mean the ones that just divert air out of the engine bay (rather than a scoop) to maximise the flow of the standard radiator? cheers, Warren.

get the standard rb20 head ported... from memory, the bore sizes of the rb20 and rb25/26 are significantly different making the exercise probably not worth the hassle cheers, Warren.

if it were a vaccum leak, then surely it would pose other idling problems? if its a BOV leak then it will only be affected under boost (obviously).. if you put the car on a dyno you could easily work out if its a bov leak, as the bonnet will be open in your face at full boost . or alternatively, as has been said, just block off the bov return line and see if there is any difference in power cheers, Warren.

18 yo?? its illegal in melb to even own a GTR at that age, and for good reason too. sure there's no laws like that in WA? you won't be dissappointed with a gtst while you save up for a gtr when you're 25...

if anyone wants an abs unit, i know of a workshop in melb that has it in a half-cut (well they did last time i went in jan) its an R32gtst half-cut

to turn off the fan, just disconnect the battery! ...but don't turn it on again!

its actually just the sucking sound of the turbo... but now that you have removed the airbox (replaced it with a pod) there is no baffling of the sound, and thus it is easier to hear the sucking sound

on an R33, yes on an R32 it would go slightly above the half-way mark

so should everyone go out and buy a new tacho, speedo, fuel gauge, and temperature gauge then?? its so stupid how everyone keeps saying 'buy a boost gauge' when the car bloody has one!
