to do work like that the interior will probably have to be removed to get to the chassis but i don't imagine the work itself being that difficult...i mean it wouldn't cost that much to fix and at 12k its pretty good value (pending condition of the rest of the car)

but the one on the GTSt looks better anyway and "all offers considered" might be worth it!

definately chuck a skyline engine/gearbox into the car as the old pushrod v6 is a shocker seriously... you will be rebuilding that thing in 30,000kms if u turbo it there was a thread on this a few months ago...do a search

funny i could have sworn that is the climate control from a gtst oh well that piece that you asked about you could get from an auto gtst and just rip the guts out of the gear indicator and put whatever you want in there...

i just clicked over to 100,000 last week and although its just a psychological barrier it was still sad to see it get old. seriously though... there's no difference with a skyline of 99,000 and 100,000 kms so its just a service mark as said by GTS-40rCeD (btw hulk is a legend!) have fun Waz.

actually that may even be a GTSt although it has the GTR guages in the centre, it has the GTSt climate control (i think...) well that's what my climate looks like and im pretty sure the GTR has a different setup Waz.

that's on the auto's for where the gear indicator is ...tells you what gear you are in, but as said previously someone has removed that and put a TT in there. someone has probably picked up a dash from an auto gtst and modified it to fit into their GTR (which it looks like its from in the pic) Waz.

ive actually noticed this as well...cops everywhere about 2-3 weeks ago i was driving down dandy road to uni near the caufield rasecourse and on one side of the road was a booze bus, on the other side they were doing canary checks ... that's not cricket if you ask me!

i tried this when i wnted to make a CAI, and found that even when you remove all the bolts its IMPOSSIBLE! the thing is just firmly in place and won't budge! I spent a good 3 hours looking for extra bolts but i had something from a website about how to remove the headlight and it showed the bolts to remove. all it will do is wiggle a bit but won't come out! But hey i wish you luck anyway...

i have to factory owners manual but its in japanese on page 87 there is a table about oils and from my interpretation the factory one is 7.5 W 30, just as redlineGTR said

hopefully an influx of turbocharged vehicles will see a healthy aftermarket scene in australia which we will definately benefit from in the long run maybe we (australia) might develop some decent bolt-ons that have been put through R&D just like you buy from japan

sven laptop, i'm guessing ppl aren't buying the astra for the suspension..... Its all about the engine/gearbox which holden has no clue about as seen by their commonwhore etc. go the turbs... but not in a 4cyl front-wheel drive Waz.

i agree with nismoman, the Astra Turbo is actually the Opel turbo, just like the Calibra Turbo releasd in the 90s which is simply a badge-change. no holden design genius there... on the other hand... XR6T - excellent piece of machinery and really puts australia on the map. imagine if Ford got fair dinkum and make a 2-door lightened version of the XR6T that is sports tuned rather than just a fmaily car with a big engine! now that i might actually consider! Waz.

for sure the onl ma70 supra i used to have has a full targa (not the pissy half targa on the 300zx) and it was bloody awesome on a sunny day was better than a convertible coz it kept the looks and you didn't even know there was anything behind you unless you looked - feels just like a convertible. how much u looking at spending?

does anyone know if the window size is the same for the r33 and r32?

the ZR-1 is non-turbo its just worked to the sh1thouse. i think they released the normal corvete then lingenfelter workshops baught a heap and did them all up with head work, mild bodykit, exhaust etc... and they can REAL powerful, and then he sold them run-in yet brand new. They are 60g's but well worth the price if u are serious about your C4. my dad won't shut up about them actually. Has the vette u are looking at got the see-through roof? definately a must have item...

dad's is auto and stock 0-100 is 5.6sec but he got a chip for $350 when he went to america last year! don;t know quarter but i would expect high 13s or low 14s do u know of the ZR-1 vette? check this out before you buy anything coz its probably as quick at the TT one...
