well i've put on about 50,000kms since buyign it so i can't assume that it came with enw pads.. thanks for your help

I've had my car for about 3.5 years now.. and i have not actually changed the brake pads or fluid before! recently, the brake warning light came on and i topped it up with fluid.. and now when i brake i get a very faint metallic rattle but no sqeualing etc.. i have decided to change the pads and go bendix ultimates and while i'm at it, get the caliper greased up etc. what's the general lifespan of brake pads? can i check my pads for brake levels without takign the wheel off? how do i check? also, when you get the pads/fluid changed, do they generally do other stuff to service the brakes like greasing the insides of the caliper (pistons) etc? and finally, what is the likelihood that the disc will need machining? they feel ok when braking... thanks for anyone with any help and suggestions Warren.

ha ha.. yeah it was standard from the factory.. chimed at 107km/h apparently very annoying, but can be removed with a bit of taking the dash apart. do a search and you will find all you need! cheers, Warren

does the plumback hose still attach? i don't see any problem with what angle its on as long as there's no leaks and it attaches to the plumback hose...

oh, a valve body upgrade.. in that case DO A SEARCH as i have posted in 3 threads about it in the last 2 weeks...

siddr20.. start a new thread, but in short AFRs of 11:1 aren't that rich on a stock ECU, hell i was running around 10:1 on my rb20!

an engine? or a motor? an engine has cumbustion chambers in it.. does the hicas motor have mini cylinders? i don't think so...

don't worry its nothing my old man's corvette gets up to 110deg in traffic before the fan comes on remember the water is under pressure so it boils at a much higher temperature than normal water. plus there's the anti-boil added that should assist even further..

ECU = engine control unit its shorthand for an engine computer, not just any computer so pictures 3 and 4 are a hicas computer. it doesn't control an engine, so its not an ECU any questions?
