  1. aaaaah i see.. so the GTS support bar is wider than the GTR support bar... will check out the FS section then... does the GTR support bar bolt up the the GTS fine without any mods there?
  2. i mounted mine near the windscreen wiper motor in the corner of the engine bay... i didn't block anything off, i simply routed the exit pipe from the cam covers to the catch can, then the pipe from the exit of the catch can went to the pipe that leads to the intake I simply filled the catch can with a stocking and a kitchen scourer to create turbulent airflow at idle, the PCV still opens, but on boost, the PCV is closed and any oil will be caught buy the can cheers, Warren
  3. why spend 100 on a GTR support bar when i can cut my GTS one for free??
  4. do you guys tune the stock ECU on an R32 gtst? how much for a tune given i already have a socket board in the ECU so it just needs to be bolted to the dyno and then tuned and chip inserted cheers, Warren
  5. pair of ones? no, but i'll check them out too
  6. Hi. i would like to know where i can get information about ignition keys for nissan cars? i have found a neat aftermarket key but it is for a nissan 300zx (Z32 model) i want to find out if it will fit the R32 skyline also? thanks for you help! cheers, Warren
  7. So, in about 1 week i will be fitting a GTR front bumper to my GTSt and want to know about the bumper support.. i know it will need to be cut to accommodate the numberplate area and the N1 holes.. - what can i use to cut it? - or should i just take it to the closest exhaust shop and say "cut this here..." ? before anyone says anything else, i know it must be illegal to cut the bumper support, and that it may reduce the structural support of the bumper.. but i can live with that also i'm not making a gtst look like a gtr, just trying to make the gtst look tougher! cheers for your help, Warren
  8. front bar sold to me as long as i can pick it up EDIT: confirmed pickup with CJ and so front bar sold
  9. awesome! thanks for the info will post when i have some results myself...
  10. sure? i thought power levels were the same obviously it would have less at the wheels due to extra drivetrain losses.. i want proof...
  11. mate , just go to supercheap and spend about 15mins looking at all the wheel cleaners they have to offer i guarantee you will find something to help now go and do it and stop typing!
  12. why would you want to try? the bores are different sizes for starters...
  13. ditto to roy.. i noticed no difference in lag with the FMIC
  14. so you have noticed this yourself, on your own car? or are you writing from keyboard experience? i went from the stock cooler to a larger FMIC with 2.75" piping and noticed no difference in lag. i think and change would be minimal and not noticable... from my experience, its right in theory but doesn't really translate in the real world...
  15. just for those sceptics... i have a set of these mats for my R32 and the quality is great... for this price you could not possible get something better... Warren.
  16. no. 2L capacity = not much exhast gas being produced to spool the turbo at low rpm. this means the turbo comes on slowly larger capacity engines produce more exhaust gas, thus find it easier to spin the exhaust wheel and can generate boost quicker... TB has nothing to do with it, and length of cooler pipes makes sweet f*** all difference also.
  17. you mean series 1 or series 2 there's no such thing as a series 1.5 just something SAU made up to make later model series 1 owners happier...
  18. hey mate you can buy paint that is actually for carpets, rubber, vinal etc. from memory it actually works for leather too... you simply spray it on like normal paint but it sticks to the leather and flexes a mate of mine used it and it just looks like the normal steering wheel... check out the paint section of repco/supercheap etc.
  19. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm pot.. no wait... LSD am i right?
  20. the rb20 is laggy in stock form, there's no denying it ANY turbo upgrade will increase the lag. you'd be a fool to convince yourself otherwise... i went the rb25 turbo option to keep it driveable and don't regret it at all..
  21. www.justjap.com.au check out the "business for sale" section in the forums.. they have plenty of go-fast and look-good shit to bleed your credit dry...
  22. unless you work for nismo and know exactly what they have done, just don't bother.. simple you want our advice? we have all said not to use the stock cam gears with the belt skipped a tooth if you want to adjust them, buy adjustable gears. end of story.
