  1. I got a 1 tone crane with settings of 1t 750kg 500kg and 250kg, should be fine on the 500 setting?
  2. As Topic, does anyone know how much a gtr engine and gearbox with all turbos/lines/manifolds/ the lot weighs? Need to know as I want to try to put it all in as one piece if possible but unsure if the engine crane will hold it all Cheers

  4. Not shure how it is over there but here in WA you just go to the pits and ask for a movement permit which lasts for 24hrs, theres no restriction on where you can go as long as it is to work on the car in order to get it registered

  8. The mines 33gtr versus the jgtc supra vid is also cool, good old days when the supras had to run 3sgte's to be competative
  9. Had the same prob in a 180, dodgy genuine nissan oil filter, there was a bad batch of them floating arround where the ruber seal wouldnt hold properly. Changed to a ryco and havent had a problem.
  10. I would assume the cams were already fited to the head when it was bolted on? They dont need to be removed to bolt the head on...
  11. Which seals are you talking about? If its the ruber seal between the fuel rail and the injector then my nismo 600cc injectors came with those...

Yeah, was thinking of cutting them and having them remade so they run above the fitting but it isnt exactly a cost effective solution and I assumed that they were metal for a reason (heat, preassure). Was thinking about the hose diameter for a while but with a standard flow rate pump (NISMO), sucking from a trust extended sump and a tomei oil restrictor, how much oil that the factory returns cant cope with is there realy going to be?
  13. The inside diameter of the fitting is 12mm I think. It seems as you would have to bend the lines a hell of a lot to be able to run them above or bellow the fitting... Its using about 20mm more clearance then before with the fitting like that, maybe a little bit more

  15. Here are some pix of what we have done with my gtr with the oil return, the blue line runs down to the sump on the intake sump into a off the shelf fitting that was tapped in and will be secured with two stainless hose clamps each end. Not fully finished yet but gives you guys an idea

  17. Have you though tof trying to v mount the cooler and radiator? then you would be reducing the chances of busting it as well as geting the benefits of a shorter inlet trackt

  19. Go hypermax 3 if your buying HKS as they are the updated versionand have a few improvements over the hypermax 3 such as the ruber upper mount instead of solid. Why would you consider buying someting that is out of date and is replaced by someting better?
  20. Making a block with a fitting in it that bolts straight to the back of the head, it requires about 20mm clearance between the head and the water lines, the lines seem to be able to be bent that far out but just woried about the clearance with the firewall. Do you think it will clear?

  22. Hey, I'm just doing the oil return mod myself in a 32GTR and was wondering what people do with the solid metal lines that run arround the back of the head that feed water and such to the turbos? They are completley in the way...
  23. ARC if your serious, some of the best intercoolers arround, not cheap though...
  24. The ORC 709D is rated at about that, not to shure about how streetable it is as I havent installed it yet but have heard good things...
