  1. same relay is used in toyota and in local nissans - tiida especially. I haev a couple spare if you want one.
  2. do you have a 6 spd in yours by chance? if so does the shift hole line up? ( I have just bought a full interior for my car and I'm not about to chop that up..)
  3. rear floor blow up . the parts marked in green/red are the fuel tank strap brackets. Fig 75655+A is the one that is rusted a few images back. at $20 for the bracket it is going to be easier for me to buy a new one than try to save this one. 75656-35F01 is the part number for those playing along at home
  4. yep but mine now has a blue car cover over it for a few weeks. I am waiting on bits to arrive so I can sit them in place and make panel adjustments on the car. (I'm talking about the roof here) I have not trimmed the A/B/C pillars back yet just incase I take too much off.
  5. gotta love these people that think cheap is the way to go. its not. to do it correctly it is a AC controller swap, panel swap and then a screen swap. that screen is data driven and has to see data from the navi system first BEFORE it will fire up. without the navi system its just about useless. I have one to do on thursday and I will post a few pics up on the shop facebook page.
  6. panel is loose and ready to remove. used a air saw to trim it out panel off. started grinding spot welds down at that point and tidying the rusted area in the middle. removed section of panel. the rest was still attached to the car at this point. spot weld tool and a angle grinder took the rest off. note missing area in the lower middle. closeup of removed panel. this is the inside of that rust spot in the low center of the panel car side of rust spot before I cleaned it up tidy up complete. it still needs a hit with acid to get the rest of it. underside of rusted area . that blind nut holds a fuel tank strap in place. the idea is to make a patch up for this area and braze it into place with brass and lead. all done and prepped with copper weld paint. the area to the right of the spare tyre area I have left bare for a reason. there is still a crease in the floor and I want to work out how to pull it back out. top view of the crease. who ever did the repair on it simply sealed it with panel sealer and left it. it is NOT staying that way once I am done with it. rear qtr panel where it was stick welded back on. I am debating how to tackle this still. the top right corner had 5mm of bog in it. I now completely understand why people choose high end shops to fix these cars. it saves pulling crap like this apart for a second time to make it right.
  7. pop past tommorrow. you will get a better understanding of it. -- I now understand WHY people are fussy with who fixes your cars. started finding the rear right quarter spot welds. 5mm of bog later....
  8. considering dropping a 6spd in it. cost is the worst part on this...
  9. want me to do it? (planning a trip down.)
  10. yep that works well. what car do you have and where are you?
  11. been buiilding cars for years though. you learn a few things along the way. it will not make NATS this your but there is a good chance it will next year. look at it then.
  12. must have a squiz next time I go past. that thing was scary quick when I was last in it. this will be almost insane.
  13. and believe me I have NO intention of selling it. for what it cost to build I will never see the return on it. I have 'film' for my camera so I will take a couple of piccies later.
  14. rear boot panel is loose. whoever put the right side back on got carried away with the spot welder/stick welder..
  15. you mean the GTR top cluster - yes it can. nengun sell it as a kit. it is a nismo piece. expect the nismo price tag to go with it.
  16. euro ford , crap car - crap to work on - forget buying one. oh troll elsewhere
  17. started finding all of the spot welds on the rear panel. right side of this panel has a 3" push on it (next to tow hook.) and a rather large rust spot in the lower middle. replacement is the only option here as teh panel guy needs to access the push in the floor to massage it back out. getting this panel off will be a piece of cake in comparison to the roof. panel is cheap and strangely enough - held in MLB!
  18. yep could be a bit short. it's only and idea at this point. (lots of other stuff to do first.)
  19. thats legit. its the newer style one. anything earlier than 34 was blue.
  20. not on those. they suffer old age in a major way.
  21. easier to click the latch on the boot lid or drop the neg terminal.
