  1. give me a bit of notice if you can
  2. up to you. its not what I technically do so I cannot say either way. for neatness I would still use the OEM stuff. your car your money.
  3. found a book! mate of mine (in the repair industry) has one. hopefully things will back off a bit so I can go have a squiz at it.
  4. he's closed up shop. best to see owen at cronulla car sound kirrawee or noel at incar systems in hornsby. both of those guys are doing my referral work now. mention me when you call them.
  5. still looking for a panel repair manual, I want to see where the body seams are on this car. someone must have one?
  6. think I know where one is
  7. will this suit a NEO (C34 Stagea) RB25DET?
  8. shan, how did you go with the panel repair manual?
  9. pics please. if its the one in the glovebox area that says DVD ROM then it does not play DVDs . see the V35 area and the FAQ I wrote.
  10. speakers area 6.5" that will net a direct bolt into the rear area and you will have to make a new mount for the fronts. forget modding the stock one.
  11. thats ok. I have a bit of work on at the moment so that timeframe works for me. call first.
  12. proportions are way out.front looks wider that the rear. if they had carried that theme through to the rear it would have worked.
  13. nah - less. a fraction of that to be exact. I know what these owe me offer that and one of them is yours.
  14. shan , no it is a coupe. negated that bit. thought that there was a NA variant of the thing. I have never worked on a GTS4 mainly GTR's in that chassis so I do not know a lot about the variants of it. dimensions would be good if you have them.
  15. I know a fellow with a yard in osaka. parts probably will not be the issue here. good tip though. have already checked with nissan and the parts list I gave them came back good with nothing unavailable. prefer new stuff as I tend to build cars , keep them and drive them for quite a while. R32 GTS4-t btw so a poor mans GTR.
  16. I am researching it at this point. I hava rough idea on getting the panel work done and I know what parts are involved via FAST and the costs associated with getting them. (i'm on fairly good terms with a nissan dealer for parts.) rust line - mid rear window left side where glass meets body bubble rust mid rear window right side similar position rust spot - lower rear left wheel towards the back. roof is a given as it has a factory sunroof in place. every car I had with one of these had a rust spot somewhere in it. rest of it externally appears fine. paint is faded but you get that with any car of this age that has been outside for a bit.
  17. socks, traditional US breakfast (eggs biscuits and bacon cant get sausage here ) and a gigantic bear hug from my 3 y/o girl.
  18. looking at that - I call parts car. that frame is toast.
  19. ok same a a 36 series sedan ( same radio/computer.). handy to know. I'm going to see a dealer on monday anyway so I'll have a squiz at a new one.
  20. I figure some one has put the two side by side at some point. I'm looking at a R32 GTS4 currently and was considering swapping the rear guards for the GTR items . I have worked on more GTRs that the GTS4 so I'm unsure on panel dimensions and whether or not the rear guard swap will actually work or not. the one I'm looking at has a bit of rust around the rear window and in the lower rear guards. doe anyone have a book of body dimensions for these? (or a panel repair manual for a GTR.) I want to see if its doable or not without frigging around with other aspects of the car. the roof will have to be done as well as it has a rust spot in it. thoughts?
  21. ok you have my interest details if you have them - how to get the thing into diagnostic would be nice (I have diagrams but not the service manual - nissan would not give me that.)
  22. make me an offer
