  1. Guys, I have in my possesion a 09 USDM ipod kit. if there is someone in brissy that is up for a quick plug/unplug test I' would like to try it. I have a plugin fly lead already done for it but no car to try it on. I need an ADM car. if interested flick me a PM or email
  2. test light + yellow harness = fun multimeter my friend OR get your wallet out and pay someone.
  3. clean your terminals.. actually reading that again - clarify dead? lights on no start? lights on turn key and lights out nothing happens? bit more info. two situations therer both with different solutions.
  4. quite possible. need to answer your two other questiosn first. give me a day.
  5. drive is a toshibe 30 gig item split 10/10/9. there are people that are hacking them (look at mg37.com and toss toshiba hard drive into the search key.) to take bigger drives. as for managing the thing - no idea. I have a spare 30gig drive here that I intend to fiddle with at some point. (yes it has V36 software on it.)
  6. give me your chassis number. I'll give you a part number for it
  7. where are you?
  8. yep! (though servicing the thing may hurt a bit.)
  9. rowan, ST246 is far from slow if driven correctly. I had the privledge of two of these . one was a bit slow - the second (N spec) was far from slow. also with the EC5W - that is a V6 (6A13 I think) the amount of dicking around to make the thing fit and get the AYC behaving properly would be a nightmare. I also get the idea that he wants an evo wagon. to me it would be easier to buy an evo 9 chop and build one. only issue I can see is the rear floor being different. (give me a current verion of CATS and I'll tell you.) my 2c.
  10. so no takers on this (or people willing to commit.)?
  11. matt, he has a yard in osaka and packs containers worldwide last time I was at his storage shed in brissy I *THINK* he had one. where are you? ( I can arrange to get it shipped to you.)
  12. you should have specified that at the time of the install the unit used probably wont support it.
  13. nope but one of them MAY be a truckie.. they CAN drive and get a flatbed.
  14. depends. I have a mate that regularly pulls these things apart.
  15. Tenatively in town for 3-4 days for this time. anyone need work done?
  16. VICS beacon. FM traffic data. useless here. dangly is the dealer fitted alarm - piss it off before it strands you.
  17. done. I'll locate the switches in a bit. (fellow that has the car is in osaka currently.)
  18. ya know. some of us are not always on here..
  19. I'll see about the switches. as I said I can get them. they sit on the centre console behind the shifter. pads = $75 for both.
  20. pioneer. find something local pioneer and you can use the accessories. (to a point.)
  21. I can get them. I have access to a whole car so its no biggie.
  22. brand name gear for me. clarion are releasing a few new units that are quite good featurewise.
  23. easier to pull it and start again. that said if you want a stock looking radio - find a wrecked patrol and nab that one. plugs straight in
