  1. did you use the interface??
  2. its not wired if it was then you would have to push a button to shut it down.
  3. 03/04 & 05/06 are what I have here. did you sort a map format ?
  4. I do. not going to be a lot of use to you though.
  5. looks like a black widow setup. got the remote handy?
  6. do it with a prepaid red sim (vodafone) that way you can tie it to you c/card and when it gets low it recharges. 2nd robs comment on fitting.
  7. you are not listening.. as I told you this morning it is a wiring and setup thing on those. get it wrong and the alarm WILL NOT work and there is a VERY good chance you will destroy a module - pay someone to sort it out for you. otherwise live with out it.
  8. you are a tightarse.. given the age of that thing - turf it. any shop is going to charge you at least $100 + to fix it - IF it can be fixed.
  9. depends onthe workload of the shop. do you know which shop has it?
  10. nah I generally turf aftermarket JDM things anyway. disc will be of no use to me. work out what an international mail post bag will cost sent to me and include another one. shouldnt be that much. you do have the factory xanavi system - correct?
  11. a bit of light reading : http://www.kiwi-w.org/documents/Kiwi-W_Con...ium_English.ppt http://www10.giscafe.com/nbc/articles/view...rticleid=493586 http://www.iformat.org/english/iffsum.html FYI - xenavi is industrial clarion. http://www.ctrlview.com/ (may help - I do not have a DVD here to fiddle with.)
  12. mail me a dual layer DVD and I'll make you a copy. send a second envelope paid and addressed back to you.
  13. watch the formats DVB-T is what you need. I sell them as well (Zylux or HITV - your pick.)
  14. part of the issue. I have a disc here and to be honest - its not a easy task. I can do hex edits on that disc but unless you have the software that wrote it its going to be a bitch to reverse engineer. ( I found this was the case when I started playing with KWI databases.) WAV headers - isolate those. whilst you may not be able to do the maps you may be able to get the car to speak english. (my forte' is more hardware based than programming.)
  15. its not a bad unit. when intalled correctly the only way the car will move is on a flatbed. keyguard is a handy feature. does not matter that you haev lost your keys and someone found them then found your car. its still not going to move.
  16. in what respect?
  17. I sell them basic protection and if well fitted - do the job fine. autowatch would be my pick but thats just me
  18. call me in the morning. easier
  19. andrew, call me.
  20. car acc installs would be my pick. they are a CAM member and can do a better job of it. that said tell them the car does not need an actuator and that it already has factory keyless entry. that will help.
  21. press the cd button twice.
  22. even easier- bring the car up here..
  23. indeed!
  24. this thing sounds horn! I'm not game to nail it but I can say that by the sound it has it WILL go. those that have seen it would have noted the camera setup. I had a problem to sort on that this morning.
  25. that was me. car has been sitting at a workshop for a few weeks. I was returning it to another workshop for more work.
