  1. no idea- I need to talk to you as well shan
  2. yep I am slightly wrong. I know the s2 didnt, the s1 did. there is a speed wire that locks the passenger door and if the drivers is connected to it locks that door too.
  3. beleive it or not 90% of the people find me via google. think I must talk a bit too much
  4. standard issue in those. they all do it.
  5. that tune will change when the thing breaks.
  6. it plugs into the stock tuner. give me a call at the shop . easier.
  7. the lead I sell gives RCA input to the stock system. you still need to feed it a NTSC signal but thats it. if you do the camera I need the OEM tv tuner as I need to modify it.
  8. if the bags went off there will be a reason for it. before you go any further I would get a measurement book and check chassis points. no good repairing it if its bent. bags are not related to the issues you are having. look in the engine bay fuse panel.
  9. only time you need a geniuine key in an R34 is if you have a GTR. the rest fo tehm work on a copy. if you want the remote entry key I can get them cheaper but they are still expensive.
  10. unsure on the TV format used there. DVB-T is teh local one here. as for getting things INTO the unit. I sell the leads to do so and I can modify the stock TV tuner to take a camera easily enough. nissan changed tuners in those in the second gerenration. they wnet from using the sedan tuner (s1) to using the coupe tuner (s2) electrically both do the same thing. internally they are quite different. I'm working on a interface so that you can rip that out and plug a normal one in its place. still at prototyping stage though.
  11. tom, ta! I'll dig up those other bits you wanted as well. shipping was originally the people in japan's idea. that said it worked well and I'll do it again with your other bits.
  12. nope the unit in the dash covers the lot. screens are $250 + shipping.
  13. 1. no 2. no - too old. 3. no. check red/blue on back of unit for power. 4. yes. 10 yrs old and definitely possible that its fooked! 5. not really. the two shots you posted have nothing to do with it. they are to do wiht ABS/HICAS. I do have a drop in screen for these that will let you run a video source into it.
  14. yep. I was doing two things (and looking two things up) when I did it.
  15. yup! stop the cars coming in and it will quieten the streets down a bit - NOT! still does not stop me grabbing 88 and older cars from NZ.
  16. I wish! believe it or not this is how I pay for a 30 year old house and feed my kid.
  17. this is what I came up with -------- Part Number:22680-7S000- Description:´±- ÌÛ³ ¾Ý»- Prod.M/Y:0301-0411 Specification: Trim color: Per Veh:01 Body color: VQ35DE.(MT.F6+AT.F5) ------------
  18. we do indeed know each other. we make it a practice of keeping pricing to our relevant markets. if you want a price from stylyn call them. that said I may be down there in a few weeks anyway.
  19. raise teh drinking age. when tehy did this in the USA it DID make a difference. anyone caught with alcohol in their system under 21 got into serious trouble. after 21 the limit was .05 and that was fairly easy to hit after 3 bottles.
  20. 9ONNA - R32 GTST spotted around beams rd. has a rather loud screamer on it. can you quit booting the thing out of the street. it wakes my kid up
  21. ERD he works on more than just nissans.
  22. give me your chassis number and I'll tell you.
  23. Aftermarket additions I have an aftermarket carozerria/addzest/panasonic TV on the top of my dash - can this be made to work here short answer - NO! tv fomats are different. you will get sound and *MAYBE* a partial image but thats it. it is best ripped out an the factory storage pocket put in place. I have a mystery switch on my dash - what does it do?? (car with OEM navi) there is a good chance this is the video in motion unit. try flicking the switch and going for a drive with the screen set in TV mode. it it works then that is your mystery switch.
  24. Sid, they will be cheap - it the nature of the beast to spend $20 securing $20K of car... then they whinge bitch and complain when the insurance company refuses to pay up.
