  1. its the WHOLE accelerator pedal. you cannot replace the faulty bit on the top as it is calibrated to that pedal assy. regarding the exhaust. you live in VIC. go to geelong and borrow Ford's testing facility for a bit. have $7-10K handy for the right to use it
  2. clarion japan. want one - call me- they are about $90.
  3. pic of said black box pls. (at least it may tell me what you are fiddling with.)
  4. didn't I tell you to toss that thing out..
  5. quite iffy. need more detail.
  6. see that green thing with wheels on it beside your house.... (toss it in there.)
  7. on a trivial point. bought a full set of service manuals for this thing. 3 books and all of NOT CHEAP from nissan japan. kinda helps to have a set of them when you have a car that for some strange reason will not rev past 3k.. ( david and I fixed the thing btw.)
  8. hate to be the bearer of bad news those are the USDM ones.. the jap ones I have acess to and they are quite different.
  9. chassis number and PN pls
  10. easier to rip the controls off a CVT version and wire those in place. forget trying to do it with audio controls unless you can design PIC circuits.
  11. for those wanting it, I have a PM35 (auto) on hand and over the next few days I'll use it as a testbed for a cruise unit. same idea as teh VQ25DET version but for the 3.5 Lt version. questions - ask
  12. loz, yes. put simply these are $900-1k fitted. its WELL below that for a mule.
  13. there's a catch of course: I need a PV36 (VQ35HR or VQ35DE) or a CKV36 (VQ37HR) for a mule. now I know there are two sitting in a RAW workshop here in brissy and I figure someone here owns them. if you have bought one and have it coming in via brissy let me know. I need to set one up as a mule and I need a car to do it. time wise I'll need it for a few days the result will be a integrated cruise control with buttons on the wheel and to the person that provides the test car - half price CRUISE! interested??
  14. what are you trying to do exactly? if its make the oem screen operational so you can watch video I have a MUCH easier way.
  15. nothing wrong with carmen. craig has been doing these for a while. motorvation do them as well. 6 of one half a dozen of the other to be honest.
  16. bit more detail please.
  17. control will be via IR. I'm slowly working on a drive from the front solution. lead for video in to the car comes from me. from there you will also need a VIM piece. up to you where you put the video input. most of the cars I have done it is somewhere in the armrest.
  18. map data is in MOV format. I have a disc here. the KWI formats are a bit of a bitch to read. been at it for about a week now on one of them. KWI seems to be a denso format from what I can tell. that said the pioneer AVICs use a similar system. if you happen to find a copy of KWIDebug I'm ALL ears. if you can code xenavi mapping - go for it. I believe that the local maps are raster based. totally different system to what xenavi use. shan, the US based stuff (for that format) does not work. lots of things in 'different' spots from what I see. rianto, GVN 53 supports it with an external module. you have a 52. no dice.
  19. motorvation if you are near the city or south. 3257 7755 is the number for them. carmen if you are north - 3881 1800.
  20. motorvation automotive and carmen imports. both can work on them.
  21. do you have it in the right way and powered up?
