    think rainbow do a full set for those. the OEM one is a nokia from memory. what stereo is in there at the moment - stock BMW/alpine?

    I'm not the be all and end all of these cars.. I simply work on a fair few of them. there are plenty of people that understand teh concepts of these things and they would probably be in the local yellow pages. as for doing the band expander - lower dash comes out.

    lot of the cars do it. pull a land rover to bits and nothing works. so if the radio fails - the car does not run. its call cost cutting/integration. why have two modules when one more complex one willl do the same job. your problem is sorting itself out anyway

    I know that someone has already done a challenger here. the camaro wouldn't be that bad to flip. that said the car is 90% data driven now unlike the original 60s version that you could start with a screw driver. If I brought one in I would be looking for someone that could work on teh thing..

    look at SEVS for a start. that said it is LHD and newer than 30 yrs so it needs flipping. so short of having a few hundred K buy somehitng similar IE lexus.

    yup! like 99% of the PN 2413/14 and PN2613/14 versions.. 2 DIN panel and controller - that where its at if you still want the original repaired I'm happy to do so.

    dpends how wet he got it. usual thing is to pull it apart and hit it with a hair dryer.

    for those wondering WHEN it was going to happen - I helped unload a Z11 halfcut this morn. also unloaded doors and misc bits as well. I'll pop a pic up in a bit.

    not worth a lot if they do not fix it properly as I stated onthe phone today. those mechs are gettin on a minimum of 6 yrs old and the last one I did took 6 months ex japan (and ex china where they are made.) to get to me. one other issue that will crop up: the radio will die totally and when it does it will take the A/C system with it..

    the dealer is really going to like you make sure they replace the laser and NOT the unit (IE second hand.)

    watch the warranty period on those units from ryda. some are repaired seconds I'm told.
