too late for me - I pulled the brisbane city council off the QT system so you lost $10k/yr on that due to the netowrk NOT coming back up. terry crews was WELL aware of of this and stated that the system would be up in 3 months (this was end of JAN) - come MAY and still nothing - so bye bye. for you reference - look up metrolink.

yep I have used those boxes in the past - quite a noisy solution actually. in one car I had a rather nasty black rolling line. for the camera kits ready to plug in $400 from me (torpy I have not forgotten about yours )

if they are the new square ones I cannot help. range was usually a install issue on them when I sold them. add a LONG bit of wire to the antenna and route it across the front screen. that will help greatly.

to be honest - its all software. once the hardware is in place to do so any thing is possible. lets get the thing protoyped first. matfan will say a similar thing.

dodgy!! have seen 33's like this - 32's were a no no. anyone note no chassis number listed on the auction? thats the dead givaway to me. they do have something to hide.

what have you done to the car? if its engine,trans swap them yes you need one. speak to QLD transport and get the local person in redcliffe and talk to them. thats the best way to tackle this.

that makes two cars I had read about now. I want your chassis number want to do a parts list up for this though I have a feeling mine will probably work out cheaper.

yep they told me the same thing. that was until I told them the part numbers and what I really wanted was a FSM- to which I got a resounding no. that manual lives in MLB btw. the dealers request a section at a time thing being they may source the $1500 kit but its not a guaranteed fit into the electrics of the local car. thats he whole point of what I'm trying to acheive.

its a 1988 model subaru Leone GT II wagon. it's a JDM one with all the electrics. the front yellow IPF fog lights are factory fitted and still work.engine wise it HAD a 1.8L turbo engine and 4 wheel discs. local cars of that age were carby fed and disc/drum setup. I bought it in 2006 from a fellow that was sick of rebuilding the engine. ENGINE : EJ20HD 2L twin turbo intercooled (300hp) TRANS: 4 SPD Auto AWD with 4.44 final drive and LSD wtih a lockable centre diff. ( it was a 5 sp manual with the fulltime 4wd box with 3.70 gearing in it front and rear.) BRAKES - Legacy GT with the ABS and traction control system carried over. rotors are slotted DBA items. Wheels: 99 JDM Impreza 16" wheels in 5 stud (these cars were originally 4 stud with 13" steel wheels) the hood scoop is functional and taken from a turbo XT. centre section is XT and the frame of it is the wagon one. I built it and I OWN IT! a few of the brissy people have seen it, nothing special unitl you plant your right foot.
