  1. Rears are DB1521 or IN1521 in Intima. DB1220 are for non Brembo.
  2. DB1520 is correct, Brembo pad for both the 350Z, GT-R. DB1170 is not correct, they are for Sumitomo calipers, found on the R32 non V-Spec GT-R, and GTS-t, GT-t Skyline.
  3. Please don't buy Benshit, at the very least get Intima SR brake pads. IN1520-SR front and IN1521-SR rear. I can help source them for you if needed.
  4. Maybe I should have written that a bit better lol. I did come 8th last in English at school during the HSC, ironically spent 2 decades reading/writing specifications and contracts in IT 😂
  5. You guys are welcomed to come flog mine, just don't upset my wife and don't park her in if she needs to go out to pilates in the morning. If you can leave the wheels behind, that would be great 😅
  6. Probably being in IT for 2 decades, and spending my time documenting trees worth of shit and also being on the receiving end has taught me a thing or two.
  7. I've heard people claim with Just Cars (now defunct) and have been paid out, but painful process, and with Shannons, but noone I know or heard of has claimed with Enthusiast, hence I'm a bit nervous with their policy. Sure I'm "covered" but am I? is the real question
  8. Need to be in this world these days Duncan, they their
  9. Wow... What a bunch of c _ _ _ suckers. Had to redact the word to be compliant in 2025.
  10. Here's the thing, has anyone actually put in a claim? I am with Enthusiast too, however technically our cars aren't 100% road legal. In the event something happens, would they just go "oh stiff shit lad, yeah nah, your car isn't road worthy, we ain't paying you a cent" That's what I'm afraid of, even though I've listed all the mods on the policy (max out the box).
  11. Looks decent, did you need to remove the dash? Tempting, but the effort and time I cbf.
  12. When's the rear mounted turbo kit coming? Needs dose and V8 chop idle lol.
  13. When you track RPM vs time it's clean, unlike the OEM one, even with filtering there are ripples. Means no random misfires or triggering issues at higher RPM, especially if you have big lift cams and a noisier valve train due to heavier springs.
  14. If you think that's harsh, go experience a KAAZ 🥲 Thoughts and prayers for Dose. I had mine modified by a diff shop to make it less brutal, no idea what they did but it's not as brutal as before. The Asian in me was being tight before and went KAAZ instead of a Nismo, lesson learned.
  15. Try using Penrite 80W140, has Limslip predosed into it
  16. $20K would be a more realistic number with a good amount of DIY. Parts these days all have David Jones price tags on them.
  17. Leave it stock, once you mod, you can't stop.
  18. this... hence I said what I said previously, SMSP nights you see mainly Hondas, Evos, A90s, F80x and the odd VW. The 5 or 6 times I went, I only saw 1x R32 GT-R, and other than that I was the only one in a shit box Skyline.
  19. Seems like the only true "budget" track cars here are Hondas and Mitsubishi Evos. God forbid anyone mention Subaru lol.. every 2nd track day, new head gaskets or new block.
  20. I think you're missing the point here Duncan, I was trying to say that if you want to go fast around and have a spare $80K to $100K, easiest option is to just buy another car instead of modding your Skyline. Sure blowing $80k to $100K would make it fast, but then you'll have a car that you can't drive on the street comfortably. But use that $80k, buy a fast factory car, spend like $7K on AliExpress pipes, email tune, tyres, pads and you can be fast, not to mention now you have two cars.
  21. At SMSP, I mainly see Hondas, M cars, A90 Supras and of course, plenty of Evos. Have not seen a single R32 ro R34 Skyline on the night sessions that I've been to. That's really saying something.
  22. Since the motor is out, I suggest pop in a nice dirty LS chop cam. MOAR of this please:
  23. This.. no one is going into it wanting to "build" a fast track car, because let's be honest you can buy a i30N or Type-R lawn mower and both will destroy a R32 GT-R (even with mild mods) around a circuit. Greg is on the Gregging money here. If you love your R32 GT-R, just leave it stock and enjoy it and If you want a fast car to play with and hit the track with, just put aside $80K for a M2 Competition and keep the R32 GT-R as a weekend cruiser. Same outcome (you have a R32 GT-R and you have a fast track car) really.
  24. this thread delivers, once again Skyline owners, our cars spend more time off the road than on the road
