  2. Not all nismo tunes are the same, you wont know what the timing, fuel or boost parameters are until you try it. 1 bar is normally considered pretty safe on a stock tune... it just wont be ideal in terms of tune. Nistune is around 400 for the board and 100 for install plus tuning.
  3. I wouldn't count on anything with an unknown ecu. If you have limited mods then plug it in on a dyno and see how it goes??? If your planning to plug it into your r34gtr then I wouldn't. Most of the time you can't nistune a 'tuned' rom ecu from Japan. I would buy a nistune for your current ecu and have your car tuned by a professional, with your fuel of choice, to suit the intended purpose and climate. You would see some solid gains even with just an exhaust with a decent tune. Cheers J.
  4. Just weld her up.... She'll be right. ... as long as you only live your life a 1/4 mile at a time that is.
  5. I bet (as long as everything else is in good working condition) if you put a stock shroud on, your coolant temps would improve 'in traffic or slow traffic'. Additionally, if you have an N1 water pump, then that isn't going to help at low speed either.

If you can buy the whole hot side off a later model rb26 cheap, then have at it.... shure why not? if you modify the stock manifolds everything else will bolt up nearly factory (a couple of minor mods for oil and water lines). Or you could save yourself alot of time and money and get a hypergear highflow/stock replacmnent turbo.
  7. The stock set up will be alto better than thermo's. If its a modified engine then you may want to look at running a nismo or similar oil air separator.

  10. Greddy or Power enterprise or Gates? ...where are you going to get the blue PS and Alt belts from? ... faark i can't talk, I have a slight addition to trust/greddy no no no, you've got to make stencils and spray sickest or eeelist or some crap on them with white spray ink!

  12. The r34 gtt brakes I fitted to my s2 C43 bolted up like factory other some VERY minir mods to brake line mounting/support brackets. Much better than stock!
  13. Unless your doing regular track work with your stag, just go with the whiteline bushes.... solid bushes will increase incabin vibration and noise that gets annoying everyday.

  15. Grow an extra elbow too... and prepare yourself for making a custom tool too (eg buy a cheap spanner set to cut to size as required). A stagea will probably be a little easier than a skyline too. I swear the engine bay in my c34 is wider than my 32gtr. Cheers J.
  16. 2006... looong time ago. ha ha ha. were the gtx2863's direct replacment low mounts? eg can mount on stock manifolds etc? Low's the street beast comming along mr Jangles? Didn't you buy a stagea to? Man we're going to have to get garages side by side at Powercruise!
