  1. The genuine greddy is a better unit for sure... by the time you port match, relieve the 'dimples' for the screws, have all the mating surfaces machined flat on a fake one, then you have spent more than a genuine one allready... Saying that, I spent a few hours matching up my genuine manifold to the tb's and smoothing out the casting marks anyway. ...tbh, the main reason I wen't with a greddy manifold was because it's 2 pc and I can ballance the tb's more easily (and it has hand flat boss's to mount all my N20 nozzles on he he he). J.
  2. don't smoke the fuse box.... it's bad for your health.
  3. I use a phenolic on the joining/injector manifold but hks gaskets between the tb plates.
  4. My old boss just kept getting sand in his VAG..... ...so we told him to stop taking his rs4s to the beach.
  5. ... still got the 18 inch advans.
  6. BA ha ha ha ha ha....
  7. Got one.... works brilliantly Shame they don't make them anymore.
  8. I started using them... but the worm drive case has fatigued too quickley and the slots bret out too easily. I found the above norma clamps a few years ago and now don't use anything else. J.
  9. I ran up to damn near 400rwkw on 98 8 years ago... good enough to run mid 10's On a factory, unopened r32 rb26. Soooo.... I would stick it with them and give them the support they need
  10. 15+yo PFC or a brand new, current tech haltch that's been designed/built/developed in Aus and is very flexible? as for just the tuning? better resolution, more options to offset timing and fuel trim etc. Same same for any competent tuner to 'use' or 'tune'. The one thing that I would have liked in my PS2000 was knock correction, but the plug in (my pick for your application) does have knock correction. J.
  11. I'd really like to know if anyone has ever tested compressed air injection with simulated exhuast side pressures/gas flow? ... goes off to find my dive bottles.
  12. ^^^ Std cams all the way. Flick a couple pages over in the HKS catalog and spend the money you were going to spend on cams on better dump pipes and front pipe or a hard pipe kit for induction/hot side inter cooler pipes... The single biggest determining factor of how your GTR will drive, is the size/type turbo/s that are bolted to the side of the engine....
  13. If your going to replace the turbo's.... just buy a new set of -7's (r34N1's... http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/garrett-garrett-gt2860r7-r34-turbocharger-set-nissan-skyline-r32-gtr-r33-gtr-r34-gtr-rb26dett-p-307.html ) and be done with it. Unless you have a lot of spare time and do the work yourself, swapping turbo's on a 26 is a job you only really want to do once.
  14. ... do yourself a favor and find a mechanic with plenty of gtr/skyline experience before you buy anything!
  15. .....who you calling a monkey? ... all though we do like bannanas! ha ha!!
  16. ^^^ Nistune!!!
  17. small supercharger.... electric supercharger... TWIN ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGERS!!!
  18. put a 700ci v8/transaxle in the boot/backseat
  19. ... I'm telling you, 15x8 zero d hole steelies!!!!
  20. What about an irs ass end from a commodore ute? Better weight carrying capacity and much more readily available info. There are some excellent photo's in a number of the threads in the stages and skyline project sections. ... stages tire placard may not mean much to an Australian government (they don't like imports) agency. Cheers J.
  21. I still want to see a well executed and developed twin charged rb. .... or twin supercharged rb???
  22. stick with the nistune and use a vh45 afm if you need the extra resolution. use the money you save for more tyres
