  1. Sounds entirely to much f-ing around for veeeeery precise fuel pump speed control. Any particular reason you wan't this level of control over your fuel pump? I would have thought 2 speeds would be more than sufficient. To mee it seems like alot of effort for little to no gain, another system that gets needlessly complicated and can have catastrophic consequences... ... personally, I like knowing my 2345a is running flat out and that the fuel will be there when I need it. PS fuel lab is shiiit, Weldon is best!!! ha ha ha
  2. It's not quite as simple as that... Best you could do without getting super trickery would be to use an analogue output, set up as a load/rpm/boost switch to provide ground to the controller in place of the 'race switch'.
  3. As above, just run what you have... I'd doubt you could measure the difference at 300 kW. As a side note, I ran 400kw with unported stock manifolds. ... I'm still of the opinion that there are at least 4 variations of stock rb26 exh manifolds.
  4. Sounds cool... big girl might be there, otherwise I might take the pig? :-)
  5. ... drift dog? well he will be after a few corners on lino.
  6. Hey Stu, Going down this road myself... Honestly after the research, I'm shying away from 2nd hand folding cages. It costs more, but a built to fit cage, built by a professional is the only real option. Aaron builds some amazing cages and will work to a budget without compromise to safety. Azz Customs- Cheers Justin
  7. Where do you go from there though?? ... here? http://hooniverse.com/wp-content/gallery/tobacco-king/rocket-galaxie-3.jpg
  8. What he said... TBH, I'd eeerr on the side of smaller for the 20. Around 240-50rwkw max for a street car as turbo's that will support more will become veeeery slow to respond when you put your foot down. I love 20's, such a light revvy little jigger.... and after lot's of different combo's, the most fun 20 set up I had was a stock turbo with supporting mods... (man I must be getting old). justin.
  9. Pop your groceries in the boot and dinner will be done by the time you get home
  10. I have one of the early 1-4 helical PPG gearsets... Good thing and once you learn to drive a non syncro box it's a lot more rewarding to drive. Plus if my missus can drive it successfully, anyone can. ... ba ha ha ha ha ha. Once you set the pedal height properly, it's not really that bad. I've driven much worse. ... again, if my missus can drive it in traffic... you must be doing something wrong. Just a note on input shafts.. I opted to leave my input shaft stock. I look at it as a fusible link, as my clutch is unlikely to slip too much... so the stock shaft provides some protection to my gear set if serious shock loading occurs. Cheers Justin
  11. That's pretty faarking awsome..!!!. Where the intake? It would be very tempting to weld up a slip jointed closed exhaust tube to run from the engine pipe to the muffler- just to hide the pipe work going into the boot. ... how hot does the carpet get? Love it!
  12. if you weld the end up, then yes... kind of.
  13. That's awsome mate, is it all still running well? you must be happy yoiu have sorted the oil issue out... what a fkn ride! ... Run in, all I can say is don't baby it too much. Plenty of boosting (low boost of course) and some moderate loading. Cheers Justin
  14. I was thinking more along the lines of fast charging while out on the road (do aussie caravan parks have 3 phase/400v? they do in the US, so some of the EV guys plan they're road trips around stopping there for electrons). Depending where you are, most large marina's will have high capacity outlets for larger yachts/boats... Otherwise, just get everone to chip in and hire a large gen set for the day at your turnaround spot?? Orr... buy 4x honda generators and strap them to the roof racks? All kidding aside, I want to see a solid EV tuning scene in Aus!
  15. Good news sports fans. Ross performance parts/ ballancers has been bought out by an Australian engineering company. There will be some lag time, but I would expect to see a comprehensive overhaul of all product lines as well as some new and exiting products/kits. I for one like to support Aussie design and manufacturing where possible, so I'll be keen to try out some of the revised parts. Cheers Justin ... PS I have no afiliation with the company that has taken over Ross.
  16. Maybe call the guys at Drummond, proper motorsport shock and spring set and aren't designed to be super low. Mine feel light years ahead of the previous Japanese brand coils that were in the GTR. J.
  17. sweet... although all the coilovers I've ever seen can go much much lower than 100mm body clearance. Let us know, how you go. J.
  18. Wholey crap..... $1500 My XRATED number plates must be worth $15000! ha ha!
  19. ... eh tow a generator :-) Have you looked into larger capacity chargers?
  20. I don't believe that adjustable suspension is engineer-able... J.
  21. .. no way, I was into my 3rd or 4th import skyline by then and had run up mid 10sec in my GTR by 2007. ... ah crap I feel old now!
  22. .... aww that's cheating!
  23. 0-222km/h in 10.6 sec
