  1. Just bought some ex DJR AP 6 spots with 4 sets of 375mm rotors....nice.
  2. What What?
  3. Welcome to the club
  4. only if using std valves...if using stainless valves you will not clearance the exhaust same as STD as the 'grow' more with heat compared to the sodium filled STD items.
  5. I will never forget the night Stace and I turned up at CRD with your car on the dyno. Watching you peeling the BELgarage stickers off your rear 1/4 windows was gold. What was even better was the look on your face after you took it for a drive...you were speechless!
  6. Sorry Graham...i DID have you confused with another 260 guy...my mistake. The guy i had you mixed up with is from Melb. with a very similar username. Actually it wasnt even that close..it was MyStag260 feel free to call on me anytime mate.
  7. I refuse to touch Haltech's...Why? not because they are inferior...its because i dont know them....unlike other workshops who don't know what they are doing and learn on the fly with other peoples hard earned cash. Adam is the Haltech expert and im more than comfortable Dave taking it to him. He'll do a top job....can't wait to see some results.
  8. Owe you one?...were you not the fella that accused me of lieing to you? Over the sale of a Power FC..Then i proved to you that i wasn't?....I think you may owe me one. (or was that someone else with a 260?) 150Nm with ARP lube on the bolt and both sides of the washer....then 1/2 a turn more with a piece of pipe over the torque wrench handle....So Duncan was correct...VFT Why don't you ask Sydneykid?...he thinks he knows everything...lol
  9. Its because your thread was stupid from the opening line...."Who is the best"? but please dont mention the shop that clearly "Is the best" Go figure. Its like saying who is the best footballer in the A League but please don't say Joel Griffiths!
  10. You should try coming from Soldiers Point (Port Stephens) booking hotel for two nights (before and after trackday) only for the asswipes to call it off just because it rained the night before. It didnt rain all day, and then try to swindle us out of our entry fee as well. That sucks. Had a good day at the Golden Slipper though to make up for it.
  11. We just did ours and i recommend using a late R32 or R33 non-vspec diff. Not known to many people but these run thicker 1/2 shafts and greater axel splines for even more durability. A std r32 diff centre next to it looks like a toy in comparison. We machine 10thou off the hemisphere plate for even greater pressure when assembled, as well as running needle roller bearings in the hemisphere for the 1/2 shafts to run on instead of running on the cast housing, as they tend to flog out the housings over time. Nismo kit was installed also for increased lock-up. We run a Cusco 1.5 way in the front, so our set-up is essentially a 1.5 way front-2 way rear.
  12. some people like to remain anon.
  13. yeah we like to have them on a one month turn-around. Although we are quick we are also very thorough. All tolerances are checked and double checked and clearances less than spot-on are not acceptable. I actually sent Dave's crank back to be re-done on one of the journals as it wasn't to my standards. Got 3 tough RB26 builds on at the moment for other forum members, two from interstate...one a big 2.8 stoker...nice.
  14. My wife gave birth 9 months ago and was doing fine until she lost her way during delivery...It was only then that she felt in "real" pain. As soon as i had her refocused and breathing properly again she was fine. A lot of women "lose focus" during delivery and this is the main cause of pain and discomfort. Delivering a child is a mental effort more than a physical one (my wife will back me up on this one) and if your not the sort of women who can control your emotions and mental focus then you will find delivery a painful experience. my 2c
  15. I dont know what your trying to say?? Jim would not hand back a car that wasn't right...simple...ive seen it hundreds of times. If it wasn't right (i.e.running out of injector etc) he would hand it back with a safe level of tune and have a chat to the customer on pick-up. He can quickly tune cars because he's not guessing...he roughly knows where the numbers need to be before the car even goes on the rollers. I cannot stress to you enough and point out out to you guys he's the best this country has got.
  16. Seen this improvement with my own eyes....Jim fron CRD is the best tuner in Sydney...period. Only two people in this country i would trust to tune my car...and JIM is one of them.
  17. Mine has no ...suspension inc. top arms, lower arms, coilovers, caster rods etc (Dave borrowed all that for Superlap) ...race bucket and harness (Dave borrowed that too) ...HKS igniter (Dave again) ...Rear diff (just had it modified and rebuilt) ...Transfer case (currently having it modified and rebuilt) ...Turbo kit (sold the lowies and waiting on something special to arrive by courier) ...Head (its off so i can fit a slightly thicker gasket to lower the compression to run massive boost) ...Gearbox (its sold and PPG straight cut dogbox platinum model to be fitted) ...clutch (going to qld to be reco'd by NPC) ...Tune (Autronic in and tuned for pump not for race fuel) ...Pipework (new turbo to intercooler pipes to be done by Hypertune) ...Parachute (needed with the new set-up) all this and i still think ill be racing before you will be
  18. When's the next event...rumour has it its at EC. has anyone else heard this?
  19. Roy i take no satisfaction in what i have just posted...the guy just needs to know when enough is enough. I stated several times to leave it behind but he couldnt help himself. He fired at me with a smartass line, i returned his paltry serve with a few home truths. I apoligise to others who are reading this thread who are genuinely interested in Superlap, the weekend and its results. Russ, sorry i didn't catch back up with you mate, PM me your address and ill pop them in the post. Was good to meet you guys.
  20. *edited by admin, and warned for breaking forum rules*
  21. thats why i dont worry about being a big heavy fatso...need to slow it down so i dont poo myself.
  22. Bring back touring car racing....simple. Taxi racing is a boring one taste event.
  23. he now tunes our drag car and we fly him down to Newcastle when needed. We like to line up a few cars and do them all in one day to make it cost effective for everyone
  24. its for sale if you want it.
