  1. Cheers Ben, sometimes i wish Stacey never took the car drag racing (she started drags so ill blame her). I don't actually like drag racing that much and find it a bit boring. But we have had remarkable success doing it, so i guess people assume we have been doing it for a long time. Its like Ant West once said "i don't actually like racing Grand Prix bikes, i only do it cause im good at it".
  2. im glad ive got all the safety gear...when you have a young family and drive as bad as me you need it...its the expensive licence that eats me...im not a hard core drag racer and only attend the occasional meeting so its a big expense when you put it in that light. Maybe have a user pays system where the licence is X amount then a run fee is paid at each event as you register that ANDRA collects. Why should casual racers pay into a development fund to televise a meeting that they are not even attending. That way the casual racer with a quick car is not so out of pocket.
  3. most pills you buy these days do nothing
  4. what do you mean if...my 23 Mil.$$ Superyacht is in drydock getting antifouled at the moment so i have nothing else to do.
  5. id say we will still be scratching our heads early saturday.
  6. yeah unfortunately they didn't have any big turbo's left at the shop so i had to settle for the little one. what day?
  7. Dave come for a drive up to Newy this weekend...we are putting an 1100hp turbo on my car...come and have a look.
  8. you have been them for me before
  9. early 32 GTR centres are worth next to nothing and Nismo shim kits are about $200...best way to go. PM me if you want one with kit fitted ready to install. later R32 centres on the other hand are expensive, much sought after and rare.
  10. now now thats not nice...but its unfortunately true.
  11. pm for address details
  12. who said you could keep the input shaft?....hehe just kidding. good to hear you didnt need to whip it out.
  13. not Bathurst...ive done many laps at Oran and EC...many more than ive done drag passes (35 drag passes in total), but people only know my drag exploits so i am labeled a drag racer. would like to unleash 900hp at the tyres down conrod at Bathurst in the drag car though, it would look a little odd to see a GTR going down there with a parachute attached.
  14. hey...easy tiger...i wasn't having a go at you or correcting you...i just thought how funny it looked backwards...it makes it look like the car is coming up the hill from the cutting. Sorry if that upset you. the constant jibes about me and corners is getting a little thin...i think i might just stick to drag racing.
  15. That looks more like the cutting than the dipper.
  16. Sad day for Anthony and all the locals up here yesterday as Anthony's towie and well know local identity was killed on Monday night...all the best 'effie' and give our condolences to AD'z and his family. Paul and Stacey Diemar Red R Racing
  17. we might bring our 2 cars up...dont need brakes to go up a hill do you?
  18. It costs around $6000 minimum for a car to comply with all ANDRA regs for 10's and lower. This includes fire suit Helmut etc as well as the cars mods req. We now have to fork out more money for a parachute that ill never use.
  19. Hey Stu, No one entered the V8 class so it doesnt seem to matter how fast you can or cannot drive. The Jeep was in the carpark at the last event and should have entered it in both clubman and open class. your brake question has been answered here.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...re-t229227.html
  20. Sweet i knew you would be the man to clear that up for him...as i told him that that was your race set up...ill ring him and let him know. Whats the difference between the Brembo's and Sumi's in rear pad size? thanks
  21. cool...now R31 Gagz...if the rod out of the cylinder is pointing rearwards its a push (actual cylinder is positioned in front of the clutch fork) obviously the other way is pull.
  22. and here's me out the back of bum crack at a coal mine repairing digital data link's. id say you had a better day than me Corinne...bad back or not. Nice collection of cars to view...thanks for the pics.
  23. Looking at selling R34 GTR front calipers and rotors to a friend (Bezerkley Bumblebee car) and he is worried they will not have correct braking bias due to the piston area...can anyone give their findings/experiences so he can be assured he's not wasting his time or $$. The rears are STD Sumitomo calipers and rotors. thanks in advance Paul Red R Racing
  24. yeah a break closer to the ring end gap will have more compression than a break opposite it as the ring will have no tension on the bore. what was the question?
