  1. no but they look awfully like my calipers...and my hand holding them. what am i going to do for rears?...i already have the AP racing 340mm rotors.
  2. a broken ring will still give compression.
  3. broken piston ring...or if only cast pistons were used in the rebuild id say a broken ring land. welcome to the forums....not a good way to start...bugger eh
  4. Cheers Christian, im a little more confident now that i can continue to positively contribute to your forum. Ive only really had an issue with one person, as i have a great association with nearly all of the moderating team on here and and at least 1/2 of them personally outside of this forum.

  6. you have obviously viewed the DVD, im a smilely sort of fella...lol not your average serious car hoon, this car is like family now and due to our new business opening it is needed for promotional purposes and no longer for sale. someone missed out on a bargain as it cost almost double the asking price to get it to this level. it will be back at the track soon sporting some serious power and driveline upgrades.
  7. incorrect..ive only ever recieved 3 warnings...and ive never been banned. Stacey and i requested our old profiles (TWO.06L and DIRTgarage) and be deleted because of you and your additude towards us. We were sick to death of you having a go at us and our car all the time. She no longer comes on here because of you Duncan and is sick of the Skyline scene alltogether. This is a girl who was a National Champion racedriver and still holder of two national records driving a Skyline. Can you not at least be man enough to acknowledge ive been very proactive in trying to smooth the relationship with you. Me parking my car next to yours at the show and shine was a great example...you know damn well it was our car as you watched us park it...then after we left it, you moved away from us and set-up elsewhere. I thought that was fairly juvenile behaviour. Also posting some useful info recently in your build threads and others, getting you onto Terry to do your diff/gearbox work etc etc. But you seem hell bent on cracking me when you get the slightest chance. Whats your beef? you have never met me...come and say g'day, im not going to eat you, you may be surprised as a few people on here say im a lot different to what they thought id be like in person. The printed word is probably not good for me because im from the old school, straight to the point, speak my mind and take no sh1t. Where im from men either dug coal, played rugby, fought in the ring or fought for their country. Ive bent over backwards on here to assist people ive never met and provided countless hours of free advice from lots of $$ spent from research and development, does that count for nothing?. I know you are extremely jealous of your success and the cars exposure in the media, people close to you have informed me of this...mate its not my fault the print media in this country doesn't give much credit for the roundy roundy brigade. Hey what you guys do deserves a lot of credit and i also think that circuit/tarmac rally cars are starting to get more recognised as the Berry/Neuman car is a great example. Hope we can sort this out and put this issue between us to rest.
  8. Hey Christian, can you please investigate whats going on with Duncan and his attitude towards me. He has for years always felt it necessary to badger and taunt me. Im no angel either but come on...how many warnings has he copped from his attacks towards me? none id say. None of the posts he refers to break the rules as such and because i came in here and felt it necessary to voice my opinion on the clear double standard that he gives me compared to his mates, he slaps another warning on. He had been in the thread and felt it unnessary to dish out warnings, and even thought it necessary to get involved. But only after i come in here...another warning. Bloody hell...this isn't China!. His lack of respect for me his something ive learned to live with and ive made some attempts to smooth the relationship with him by helping him with advice from time to time. Duncan, next event why don't you actually come and have a chat next time you see me at an event instead of looking the other way anytime you come near me. I even parked our car next to yours at the show and shine to try and get to know you, but when i returned to our car you moved yours elsewhere. Christian ive PM'd you in the past about this same issue, but had no reply or feedback...so ive posted it here.
  9. They were...it smashed a 1000rpm 'hole' in my torque curve...but that engine was built to suit 2530's. So i pulled the engine and built one around the turbo's. The result was so good it shocked even the most experienced GTR tuner/builder in Aust.(Jim Souvas at CRD) who always questioned my decision to stay with the 'low mounts'. They were simply devastating in all rpm ranges once full tune and race fuel was added (dyno graph earlier was BP98 and a simple fairly rich run-in tune)...id put that combo up against any low mount 2.6 in the world. Gav your spot on about the porting mate...our torque curve looked like an NA V8's...flat from 4500rpm all the way to redline.
  10. thats Twoogle.... 9.95sec.... but yes very responsive indeed!...they were even better with race fuel and more boost...ill miss the GT-RS's...but they served the purpose they were bought for. Ive put a 1100hp single turbo on it now (modified HKS T51R SPL BB)....

  12. for goodness sake...i was only trying to help the fella...so he didn't cop it from you guys like i did...edited my post but left his there...go figure? and my post didn't mention anything slanderous or defamatory. this is starting to get beyond a joke. i think an explanation via pm would be helpful as the rules are very blurred if that post was at all out of line.

  16. I have to fork out for a UDL and its bordering on criminal...especially because in my opinion ANDRA don't give a sh1t about Sport Compact cars. With Stacey and i both UDL licence holders its almost cost effective to send the car permanantly to N.Z. and fly over there to race it. They run a better format over there and the stands are packed at events. Waiting for 2rismo to post...
  17. crank wont be done till mid next week pistons only need 1mm removed from the piston skirt where the oil squirter reliefs already are...no machining is done to the crown.

Two post hoist and gearbox jack FTW you should try doing it in the pits at Eastern Creek with a deadline for qualifying...we had to replace the gearcluster as well after smashing 3rd gear...rebuilt box with it sitting it on top of a waste oil drum (our workbench...lol) behind our pit garage...never again!...we made it by 10mins. Dave what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. (thats the only positive thing i could think of)

  21. might be more of an issue that a piece of rubber was getting sucked up into his 044 intank pump and blocking it causing a fuel flow issue....nasty lean outs...ouch!
  22. pipe crossing in between after the AFM's...but not the problem due to the lack of them. Id bet my balls the turbo's are 2540's as it is a common problem with them I have a set of genuine stainless HKS balance pipe manifolds in stock but they are as rare as hens teeth and id want good coin for them.
