  1. f*ck off idiot...do i have to go into it...ok just for you. Croydon Racing sponsored the car at the time...they wouldn't allow me to continue running a single plate with the power we were planning on running. They insisted i run at least a twin plate...it was something that was agreed was the best way to go. Happy ?
  2. Dom told me they were working on a glide. Told me to hang off changing my set-up until they have it sorted. Convertors are the issue so ill see how yours goes before parting with the folding stuff. There is a 4 speed auto option we are also looking at but Mark at Godzilla said my car should run 8's when sorted with the PPG dogbox.
  3. Yeah its a bid sad eh...racing at a Sport Compact meet in Sydney you would be lucky if there were more than a couple of GTR's entered. My mate took his near stock GTR out last night with a couple of HKS 2510's and a Mines ECU in it and ran 12.1 first pass. Dont worry when my car comes back from racing in QLD we will go out and rip it up with you.
  4. BB see those large galleries in the rear of the head near the head bolt holes...do you think oil would prefer to drain through these to the sump...or through a tiny little hole through a fitting mounted higher up in the head. ? Thanks for digging up the pic. A picture tells a 1000 words.

  6. Im not a loyal JB customer as ive now jumped ship to NPC...but only because i couldn't see my trusty single plate holding 1000hp. My old clutch now been onsold again and is now in a 3rd car...what a top piece of kit.
  7. Yes Anthony tunes at Hunter All Wheel Dyno, latest generation Mainline AWD dyno. This is who i use (Anthony) and where i do my pump fuel tune for my car.
  8. Georgia in the former Soviet Union...The Iron Curtain has fallen and Effy is moving in to take over. He's the top tuner over there already as he's been tuning cars via the mobile phone network linked up to their laptops to crunch the numbers for them. I believe he already has a circuit class national title to his name over there. He will probably be available to tune cars here still as he can tune via the internet
  9. definately my pick of the worlds tracks...and the best bit...you are a bastard DiRTY Frisbee. Good luck there...some in car vids please.
  10. Marko, as always it has been a pleasure (albeit sometimes frustrating) assisting you with your package. Time to enjoy...if want to put a few K's on it? come up to Newcastle and say g'day.
  11. Are you suggesting i accept less than perfection? Have you not seen my cars? Would i accept my car running 'ugly'? Are you suggesting CRD or Godzilla or Guilt-Toy do not get it right? I demand perfection! Thats whay i use a proper tuner. Yes i agree with one thing above...you are and old fuss-pot.
  12. Jim at CRD never had my car overnight...he simply knows where it has to be. This is what you pay for...experienced operators are worth the money. I could reach into the car and turn the key...and the engine would fire into life everytime when cold.
  13. Thats because you use one of the best tuners in Aust. Marko who knows exactly what he is doing. If a workshop needed my car for more than 1 day and possibly the next morning to tweak the cold start id be concerned.
  14. i suggest what he was probably trying to say is the height of the lobe. As it is this that fouls on the head when running larger aftermarket camshafts. Depending on base circle and cam lift the height will vary. Gary is correct...the lobe width is the same...allow for end float when machining though.
  15. i used to work in the Telstra Brisbane project team...April, May, June this year before they ran out of cash and sent me home. Telstra Management...is that not an oxymoron ? I shouldn't say that should i...they have been paying me $$ for the last 20 years.
  16. wouldn't be such a bad thing...at least i would understand parts manuals and be able to buy bits over the telephone direct from suppliers in Japan.
  17. Mike, are you not at all worried ? id be getting a new tuner...3 days to tune a G4...ffs...we had our circuit car tuned with a new Vi-PEC/G4 on the weekend. Light load stuff then took 3 power runs to get a constant 11.5 AFR...all up did 6-7 power runs until the Vi-PEC logs showed a CAS error (factory Nissan). 390AWKW @ 17psi with 17 deg advance on BP98...will make 450AWKW with its eyes shut after a new CAS is fitted and we throw some more boost at it. All done from scratch in a few hours on Saturday afternoon. We get the Vi-PEC/G4 guru's do our cars though...they know what they are doing. Id be pissed having someone flogging my car for days on end on the dyno learning with my money. All that on top of running an engine in for that period and having it rich. Good ECU choice though...I have a Vi-PEC V88 in my 1000hp drag car...its the sh1t...only took 8 power runs to tune it too.
  18. Don't worry...its a head we use for testing on the flow bench with port size, shape, angles etc. Its cracked anyway so im not chopping up a good one.
  19. Give me $2000 and the car and you can have my street registered S13 with a built CA18DET factory 5 speed. Nice clean car.
  20. Ill be over at the machinist tomm. will take some pics and i have a head over there with an oil fitting on the rear. Ill do some measuring and if really necessary (for the sake of research) ill slice a head up that will help show whats really going on inside.
