  1. yep wonder thats not kris' car tho, sr20det with fmic in engine bay
  2. try the wreckers in your area ask garage 7 for details , most ceffy parts are in sa or qld s13 switch is said to work, but auto lights wont as there no switch for it
  3. i've seen the exact same thing with pictures from japan, quite horrifying
  4. does the r33 diff have a similar gasket? i dont remember noticing one when i shimmed up the diff and after awhile i've been getting a slow oil leak, just figured one of the circlips broke/bent anyone have a nissan FAST picture of said gasket?
  5. has style i tellz ya^ now dont drop the ball, we want non sensible meshies up front and back kris, is there a build thread for the ceffy with watanabes ?
  6. yea tru that adds up, build thread is never updated on sau so i lose track NIC, take note of kris' set up even josh couldn't tell it was a rb25 and he owns one
  7. for the r32 gts4 the hubs(spline), half shafts, diff and tails shaft are all to suit/swap-able with a gtr much like the gearbox i'd say the ratio is different tho
  8. was thinking maybe the new engine is a bit more 'fresh' then my old one therefor there would be more air pressure put onto the spark, so gapped plugs to 0.8 and slightly advanced cas timing (counter clock wise) problem solved
  9. looking good dan ^^^ RB25 with 20 gear cover, redtop rocker covers. kris, how'd you kill the old 20, over heating / detonation? was the damage isolated to 5/6 cylinder?
  10. lol bad luck, did you pin point the problem so it doesn't to the next one ? or just get a thermo fan/ or twin if all else fails, may as well go 52mm with a metal ( alloy/ galvanized) shroud knocked up note: i've had a rad's fins/tubes fixed before from thermo fan damage, about $80, but if its a ebay china spec may as well get another one considering how cheap they are
  11. BCPR6ES at 1.1 gap, same specs that was working fine on the old motor with the same list of mods.( i did end up gapping the old plugs to 0.8 when the old motor was working fine so either way the gap isn't the problem) yea might be quicker if i just buy a timing light still more ideas to throw at me for the meanwhile guys?
  12. mine sounds just like this after i put new cam shafts in, i think i put the idle bearing spring under the stud on the block instead of over, will this cause much harm to the engine? figure i'll fix it in a few months once i get a carport or it stops raining for awhile
  13. killed the old rb20 so just did a rb20 donk. i'm getting a missfire above 5k, cant be coils as they were fine on the old motor 2 weeks ago, i marked the cam gear cover with a vertical line which continued onto the cas, so i just swapped the cam gear cover onto the new motor and lined it up. now i figure the cas timing might by slightly out so i'd say thats the problem although i'm just after confirmation and other ideas before i get the cas timing checked on monday rb20 FIMC walbro hyper ss1 turbo at 14 psi 3" turbo back day old spark plugs thanks
  14. confirm that the studs that bolt the pulley and clutch fan onto the water pump are not slightly loose. they can still be a lil loose in them and not come off. if that doesnt work you could slot out the top bracket bolt holes to pull the rad closer to the rad support
  15. if thats the case and no drilling is required on the 20de's that are thread taped from factory, how does one tell a rb20det long motor from a rb20de long motor ?
  16. nissan s12 gazelle, they come with a manual rack aka non power steering, some may have been optioned up for power steering so just double check
  17. clean out acc valve or what its called next to the clutch master( or where it should be) thats bolted into the back of the intake mani, theres a guide in the diy section for the clean out does sound like it could be a weak spark tho,
  18. stewy like many other drifters around the world travel up to japan for drift matsuri / or just a general drifting holiday. seems to have a good connection or two as he makes it look too easy, turning so many fresh cars into missiles LOL
  19. stewy, demon camber much? thats just for stance right or did it slide well with what looks like 5deg of camber ?
  20. are we in japan atm d1a31 ? nice pics anyone got more of the black ceffy on SSR's?
  21. i think that WA cops are way too laid back if you can just mount a boost controller right in their own face, other then that looks nice and neat
  22. why do you want rubber/poly bushes? they make your settings dynamic with g forces etc as its not fixed/solid.if anything just get new rose joints with rubber sleeves for rose joints , midnight mods, gk tech etc
