would it be possible to port drill a exhaust housing like a comp cover to elieviate (spelling) some of the back pressure? if you were to drill say 5 x 1.5 mm holes around the ex wheel would this help? the 10 beers ive had are making me think out side the square

whats the top speed of the new gtr? cause the vette got near 3 hundred befor he changed into 6th? wtf why do they need to go so fast? maybe to make up for there lack of conering ability. but they have still made a car with a lot more power and a lot less weight. win win if you look at the other cars on that list above the skyline is a underpowered very heavy attempt at a supercar.

i should mention that the other day heading up willunga hill i flicked the auto into snow mode and then kept it in overdrive as low as i could without it kicking back into third. i managed to get 4 - 5 psi by 2400 rpm. now as this is a constant revs wouldnt a manual do the same thing? sorry for the OT but im around the 325rwkw at 24psi on a built auto rb25 running gt3582r-iw .82

there was several other car alarms in the street that went of as well during friday night. not sure if they were being young tools and setting there own alarms off or something more? im not saying that he has anything to do with the skyline theft issue at the moment just that hey he only moved in last week or so and his freinds were out the front. could have been just having a look im not sure.

thats the one in the early hours of this morning some clown walked up my driveway towards my wifes skyline, but the sensor lights came on and they fled. your mate had a few cars hooning around last night so im guessing it may have been a freind of his, so i will have a chat with him next time i see his car there. my bro was watching WWE on fox in the lounge room and seen them out the window but his only 15 and not up to opening the door and chasing the goons down the street with a wheel brace, so he just observed and then told me this morning. i guess they were lucky this time.

all your timing marks look ok, but have you checked your intake cam gear adjustment? that may have slipped, or moved during the install process? (the back of the VCT on the intake cam is adjustable)

fuey i went to my local auto store and got 2 springs of the shelf approx 50mm long x 10mm wide. they have a full circle on the end not just a hook, and they have been on my 3582 for 12 months without issue.

what did you get done for $1000? just a tune? or extra work?

all i can say is its a lot better turbo to suit your engine then the gtrs. 20 pound will see you past 400hp at the wheels and you will slash seconds off your 0 -180 time. Do it....

someone got to say it. auto with a high stall! get mid 11 fairly easy with a fully built trans, and high stall for $3k

on a r33 gtst my 2800 high stall makes the car a lon nicer to drive. the car will happily drive from idle up wards. the only way you know its got a stall is if your doing a hill start or have your foot on the brake. otherwise its a very well designed product compared to the old school chev and ford style high stalls, which wont move the car until 2.5k rpm.

that reminds me i need to go down to fisher firearms to pick up some 7mm rem mag ammo.

1st post edited if your unsure on how to remove it i would take it to a head specialist and get them to do it , as you mention you have had isssues with this allready so you may have buggered it up yourself by doing the cap up to tight or not tight enough etc. buy some new cams and then get a pro to fix it or at least someone compitent enough to fix those 2 stud holes.

lol thats your exhaust cam buddy. are they the stock cams or have they been removed or installed recently? usually they break when installed incorrectly. but in this case it seems the cam bearing cap has either had a bolt break off or fall out (hard to tell in pic) then you can see the other side closest to the ex manifold has been flogging itself to death, because its trying to hold the cap on with only one bolt. hmmm to fix it is probally gonna require a couple of helicoils, and some new cams.

As above 044 intank FTW! mounted properly intank its whisper quiet and still pumps fine with 5L left in the tank. happily feed 350 rwkws. for a fraction of the cost.

its amusing how a lot of you are keen as to ride at selicks and sound like youve done it hundreds of times. i assume you all know its private land? and therfore you have all been trespassing? the land is currently for sale, but as its hills face zone it would be hard to set up a ligit bike track as the greenies wouldnt allow it. dam you greenies..... piss of to tasmania, where its green all year round... lol

the 2 picks below show different types of q45 afm the 5710A is the new 4 wire afm, and performs very well the 0608D i had issues with and it did max out below 300rwkws

i would aslo guess at saying the water feed you have installed will foul on the strut tower. innner guard, whatever you want to call it. ring ETM, he can send you a stainless oil return off the shelf to suit your aplication.
