  1. hey everyone its well worth joining the toyota club just to read cubes signature.
  2. im thinking of heading in the greddy plenum direction, what are yours worth and how do they compare to the genuine greddy? cheers ps. im over 320kws, gt3582, rb25, auto
  3. im guessing by that you have a WM kit on its way? Me Silly? what should i bring to the dyno day? my wifes skyline or my atv? cant bring both, and i would find it rather amusing my quad having more power then some of the cars there.
  4. if its a S1 r33 gtst, you dont need to wire anything just plug the pfc in and away you go.
  5. extreme turbo manifold. awesome customer service, and quality to match.
  6. [quote name='Cubes' date='10 Sep 2007, 08:41 PM' post='3338929' Each have a run with street tyres. See who gets whooped worse. ] i would have traction issuse up to around 100kph where you "may" get in front.
  7. i normally only associate NA ca18s as plankton, but i thought i would stir you up a bit.
  8. But we will need to have a set each to run each other, unless your happy running on street tyres.
  9. yep more then keen. and yes i will be there.
  10. NA = Plankton = bottom of the food chain....
  11. low mount or high mount? both will make an improvement over the stock log. low mount will crack before the high mount, but you should still get a a couple of years if you brace you exhaust near the cat. 6 Boost and ETM are both awesome products but high mount is the only sensible option. low mount with a merge collecter is a horendous piece of steel that looks terrible. low mount then yes get a stainless one for under $200 (around 15kws more then stock) high mount then get a ETM for $1000 (around 15kws more then stainless low mount) both figures are quoted above 250kws
  12. it actually sounds allright for plankton.
  13. you only need 4th for a power run! your SA's feerless leader, and your bailing out.
  14. may i ask how your making 300kws out of a high flow? 450 hp turbo with a .68 rear will struggle at 260 let alone 300. you must also have big injectors and AFM which you dont mention. i call BS sure you dont mean 2.2 bar
  15. bit like the dyno you use is it Mafia? why make stupid remarks? the power seems ok seeing as its running aftermarket ecu (sort of) and the stock converters and trans dont rob that much power. if he had a high stall i would call BS but otherwise i say well done.
  16. as he said! > > > > > > > > > > allthough the stainless manifold served me well for several years. i would say better then stock, but wont last forever.
  17. if your talking about the garrett GT3582R-IW then yes they fit fine.i was running mine low mounted for nearly a year, and have only recently changed to a high mount manifold due to my stainless low mount cracking. (as they do) if your interested i have the spacer and custom stainless dump pipe you will require for installing it. and i also have a stainless oil feed, and return to suit.
  18. loose the walbro, and stick a 044 intank. forget about the oil cooler and surge tank.
  19. to late for that kralster. your allready cooked.
  20. the car wont start. you will need to change the settings in the ecu to register the different flow injectors. if you dont know how! then let your tuner install your injectors and the ecu.
  21. or plan B forget about installing the pfc install the turbo and dump pipe, then drive to the tuners on the standard ecu. installing the pfc takes less then 3 minutes, and the tuner will need to reinitiate the idle learn once the injectors and afm are changed anyway, so let him put it in once everything is done.
  22. please explain the above! just a intake cam? and a exhaust cam gear?
  23. just because he is a mechanic, dont assume he knows everything. past experience is worth 100x more then a educated guess. keep that in the back of your mind and you will be fine. If anything dosent look right, post it up on here and someone will help you thru. when your putting your motor together and your keen to get it going, dont guess / rush on something your not sure of, cause it could cost you dearly in the long run.
  24. time for a high stall huh? they dont need to be limped......
  25. there not hard to fit. get a soft punch, slightly smaller then the restrictor. tap the standard restrictors down into the block, and then carefully tap the new ones in on top of the standard ones. done.
