He was driving like an absolute wanker along lonsdale highway from hallet cove heading south. i was in my work 4x4 + trailer doing the speed limit in the right lane, as all the oldies were in the left lane doing 10 kays under the limit. but even tho i was doing the limit or slightly over it i got abused for being in the right lane. now im sure the law states keep left unless overtaking. thats what i was doing. once he got passed me with some high speed lane changing, he then had to pull in behind a truck that was also in the right lane. every one was doing 80 in the left lane thru the dipper so why is the trukie doing the wrong thing for driving in the right lane when he was doing 105 as to get up the other side. im not sure but mister hero in the skyline also abused the trukie with a big out streched arm and the finger as he flew passed at 130. he then abused a 3rd car up near flaxmil rd which he almost collided with, due to sitting less then 1 m from his rear bumber as to try and make him go faster in the right lane. this sort of driving is unaceptable. the general public has enough dislike to import drivers as it is without guys like this making it worse. so whoever you are, please pull your head out of your ass and think about other rd users before going near the driver seat of your line again.

hey Kyle unfortunately for you i went with one of extremes manifolds, but i have seen both manifold first hand and know how great they are. quick question, due to the weight factor have you looked down the titanium path? my yfz10r quad had titanium headers and they were incredibally light. i guess strength may be an issue for hanging a 7 kilo turbo on the side but im just curious.

**cancelling** Cruise, Lunch And Mini Golf!
dangerman4 replied to MissR34's topic in South Australia
if this goes ahead, which it should as its a good stretch of rd, can you please organise someone else to lead the cruise other then you. In a 100 zone when corners are marked with a suggested 80kmph, and you lead the cruise at 60kmph it gets a bit iritating after 50 kays. im not being harsh its just the last cruise was painful. and i got sick of looking at sinista on the wrong side of the rd wanting to overtake. -
China Manifold V's Etm Dyno Results
dangerman4 replied to dangerman4's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hey looking at the graph its a fairly drastic flat spot / dip in the curve, yet on the street its not really felt. im running a 2.8 - 3k high stall which feels nice and tight and i would doupt it to be unlocking as, the issue is starting around 3700rpm so i would think the convertor would be locked up hard at 3700. im thinking it has more to do with the vct changing at the same time as the waste gate is opening causing the turbine to slow down a little. or something like that. -
Oil Restrictor On A Garrrett Gt3582r
dangerman4 replied to JonTurpening's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I was the first on SAU to grab the new gt3582r-iw when they were first released back 12 months ago. im running a restrictor in the stainless fitting where my oil supply screws onto the block. i used it on my old gt3071 and im using it on this. gcg say its a must to keep oil pressure to under 45psi thru the core and as im running a n1 oil pump the restrictor was a must. both turbo's worked perfectly with no issues, and they were / are daily driven and boosted. -
what ecu have you got?

i would advise against reving your car in neutral cause it wont tell you shit. the speed that it revs out in neutral will go straight past any rev limiter and you will back off before you here it work. just next time your out the front of your house instead of changing into second leave the car in first. give the car a good gutsful of throttle and without hitting anything see how high it will go. once you hit it clutch pump second and hold on.

Hey Cubes send me a pm with your bank details and i will transfer some money. and i guess now that sky30's not coming i dont need to rush out and fix my boost leak...lol...

What Size Boost Jets Do I Need To Run
dangerman4 replied to R33GOD's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
forget the term boost jet and call it what it actually is. A "Restrictor" its a small piece of steel tube that is fittted snuggly inside the actuator supply line from the manifold. it has a smaller hole in the middle approx 2.5 - 3mm compared to the 6mm rubber line. im running one in conjunction with my PFCBC and a 18psi actuator and i have no issues controlling boost up to 27psi. ramps onto boost hard, and then stays within 1psi to redline. and just to clarify an earlier remark in regards to increasing boost can make it come on sooner. if your target level is close or just past your actuator tension, then your internal gate flap will allready be opening before you reach your target boost as to control the clime in pressure. If you were to run a heavier actuator and run higher boost then the flap will stay completely shut for longer causing it to ramp up harder and earlier. not 1000rpm sooner but certainly 100 - 300rpm sooner. -
dont you want to add me to the list cubes? i said yes on the second page. please......

pfc for the win. enough said.

-m option is the larger waste gate hole and flapper i think. as im running one of the highest kw internal gated cars on here i would not lay all the blame on the waste gate flap. what actuator are you running? im guessing but its prob the one that you got with the turbo? they are often rated at below 1 bar, and if your trying to run 18 -22psi then they will struggle all day long. a simple way to look at it is pick a desired boost level that your happy with and then buy a new actuator that suits that level. ie if you wish to run 18 - 20 psi on a stock motor thats fine, but get yourself a 18psi actuator. one of the first things i did when i purchased my gt3582r-iw was toss the 1 bar stock unit and install a 18psi waste gate actuator. the difference was huge. ive run up to 26psi thru mine and the 18 psi spring was starting to struggle, but was still within 1.5 psi of targeted boost level with only a slight dip to 25 psi then returned to 26psi my next actuator will be 24psi rated and that will solve my slight wave. try that first before you start attacking anything with the dremil. remember, once its gone you cant put it back.

behind your drivers side head light there are 3 wiring loom plugs. unplug the brown one and spray some contact cleaner in there. then plug it back in. this plug if unplugged, or not connected well, will lock your car in 3rd = drive

good areas of Vic? huh! oh! you mean the last couple of kays before we hit the SA border? gotcha! just stirring Ash.. i will be keen next year to come to one of your shep events. sounds like fun.

maybe your all missing the real sorce of the eggs. i heard there feeding a lot of steroids to chickens these days to make them grow faster. maybe your neighbours have purchased some of these supercharged chickens, and there overly powerful claka valve is launching the eggs over the fence. just a thought.

Turbo Comparison Charts And Power Fc Afr Lookup Chart
dangerman4 replied to BOOSTD's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
martins tunes... hahaha what a joke, Martin says wow it makes good power, 1 week later BOOM. and im not talking about a stock engine. read into that what you will but i wouldnt recomend uras advising people to take there afr over 12 when running over 1.5 bar. sounds painfully expensive when something minor goes wrong, like bad fuel or a broken alternator belt causing your fuel pump to slow down and you all know what happens from there. shit starts happening real quick once your over 12.5 heading to 13 afr while doing 7500rpm -
intercooler leak?

try a compression test and check your cam timing, maybe a tooth or two out of wack

im keen as long as joel's not wearing a short skirt and low cut top while he serves us all beers...

hey fella, if you and any others didnt work it out im the guy riding that thing. ive built it up over the last 6 months. and Cara the second video would be alot more amusing if my ridgeback cam in after the chickens had done there bit. little fluffy animals should be eradicated, rabbits especially.

ahh ok whatever... im running a fully built r33 auto with a 3k high stall so response isnt really an issue. wheel spin is my only issue.

i have everything you will need for sale going real cheap. spacer, gaskets, stainless oil feed and return line, and full mandrel bent stainless dump pipe to suit low mounting a gt30 / gt35 in a r33. will happily flow over 350 rwkws. ive run 27psi thru my low mounted gt3582r-iw and had no boost control issues, using this dump pipe. the only reason i took it off is cause i went high mount.
