  14. bloody victorians.... i assume your talking about my Dyno graph. Have another look champ.. on the left is KW which is the high two lines which on the left reads 299 kws. on the right is torque which is the two middle lines which read around 500 nm cheers
  15. you betta have plenty of beer and a singing Elvis!!!
  16. Na its my wifes car and she prefers the auto...
  17. tune last week auto r33 gt3582r-iw
  18. anything past 260 rwkw's is next to useless with the auto anyway. If i hit the go pedal in first as you come on boost it spins the wheels hits 7000rpm changes into second hits 7000 rpm changes into drive hits 7000 rpm then changes into overdrive... 1st gear to get any sort of traction i MUST stay below half throttle, second gear is about 2/3rd throttle so i cant really plant it until im doing over 100klms, then i back of at 110! so whats the point?
  19. no probs fella sorry for being a bit harsh, until you have done the mods yourself, and then pushed them to there limits, i wouldnt type posts like the one in question as there are a lot of new people on here these days that dont search the forum enough to find the true potential of each given mod! i would hate for a new skyline owner to read your post and rush out and purchase a walbro thinking that it will keep up with a 044. then blow there engine. i am a big fan of the walbro pump for its cost and size it does a hell of a job. i made it to 270kws at the rears but the afr was real ugly and the 550 nismo injectors at around 90% duty cycle. by changing to a properlly mounted 044 my fuel flow and pressure both increased to the point where now im at 300 kws and the injectors are only running at around 70% i hope this helps and just be carefull once you get past 250 kws. i now have a forged bottom end to prove it... one last thing my 044 cost me $275 plus another $50 of fittings, filters, etc my bottom end cost me lots more.... dont scimp on the things that keep your motor alive...
  20. hey Rob i meant the polarity back to front.
  21. im not concerned at not hitting 300 in the slightest.. its only a matter of changing the boost up another 2 psi and i will be back up to 320rwkw simple... but i asked shaun for a strong everyday tune thats why we left it where it is now.
  22. i would like you to prove the above quote. "i have seen an easy 350 kws from a walbro" whoever told you this has been sniffing glue..... why would you say a 044 will supply the same as a 040? more glue? you say you have big plans for the car so all the good stuff is going on straight up, yet you pick the cheapest fuel pump you can find. you obviously havent learnt what happens when a engine runs lean... sorry but your post above is highly inacurate.. and just to clarify im talking at the wheels kws not at the engine. the walbro will not possibly keep up with the fuel demands of a highly tuned, high revving rb25det or similar, at a high rail pressure. the walbro is a awesome pump for its price and up to 250 kws is all that you need as it will happily run at 50 - 55 psi and still flow enough fuel to keep up. however if you are serious about your engine lasting once you have spent $15000 on both bolt on and internal mods, why would you risk it running lean at 7500 rpm? why have a $150 pump feeding $15000 worth of engine? It will only live more then a week if you can keep a solid AFR of less then 12:1 and a walbro "WILL NOT DO THIS". 45psi base pressure plus 20 - 25 psi boost = between 65 and 70 psi of rail pressure. with pressure this high the walbros 255lph will drop down to well below 200 lph good bye engine... thats my advice, and its your engine! Cheers Darren
  23. 044 needs 15 minutes to install.. walbro takes 5 minutes to install.. 044 = 350 kws walbro = 250 kws ive had both and installed both 044 FTW
  24. hmmmmm....focken air con has died in my bedroom...grrrr stupid airwell shieeet
  25. hey fella i didnt get a chance to have a look as i was running late.. out of curiosity what does $7+ k buy you these days? and where are BDT getting the machining done? whats included in the total build up from BDT?
