  5. If you don't mind buying from interstate, go for Jim Berry Clutches up in QLD... They are reputadley the best in the business and can make any clutch for any car...
  6. I don't think there's an Australian Distributor just yet... I was going to get my American friends to order some and send it to me, but haven't gotten around to it yet. http://www.zainostore.com/ They have a singaporean distributor, and I'm sure they would be able to ship you some.
  7. Yes... I bought a tub from the Harley Davidson Dealer on Parramatta Rd, near Homebush... I had to call them and get them to grab one from their warehouse before I went in... Make sure you get the WAX which comes in a tub, as they sell quite a few "S100" products.
  8. I haven't recieved any confirmation from Cabin that my entry was recieved... Bad organisers.
  9. extremely hard to match that kind of paint perfectly. If you opt for a paintjob like that, get the painter to mix up another 4 litres of the paint and keep it in your garage in case you need any repairs or respray bodyparts.
  10. WINNAR!!!!11

  12. Hahahahaha... that'll teach you to use photographers as reference points The ones posted above are the good ones... That's panning, where you use slightly longer shutter speeds, and track the car with the camera... The car is completely in focus, but the background is blurred due to the motion of the camera. You have to follow the car PERFECTLY otherwise the car ends up getting blurred too, like this example:
  13. S100, Pinnacle Souverain or Clearkote Vanilla Moose are the best waxes to use. They give the deepest "wet look", but take a lot of maintenance (have to reapply every two months or so depending on what the car goes through)... If you want durability, go for Zaino... It's a synthetic polish/wax and lasts for AGES and is extremely durable and hard wearing.
  14. I got there after lunch and walked around the pits taking photos, but I didn't see you Mark, so I didn't say hi... So I went off to take pics from around the circuit... I was driving the Purple GTR and taking photos at turn 6/7 Here are a few... I'm still learning how to pan properly, so sorry about the blurred ones... http://photos.fortheboyz.com/cars/0401ectrack/index.php
  15. Sorry mate, I took photos of all the cars there, but I lost all of them when I changed lens for some reason... I'm still trying to retrieve them from the CF card... I'll post here if I manage to find them.
  16. Brett: Bring some spare driveshafts to Drag Combat mate, just in case... Here are a few photos I took on the day... I seem to have lost a few that I took with the other lens... Very weird. http://photos.fortheboyz.com/cars/0401dyno/
  17. Why would it be better off in the long run? If your goals are 250rwkw, how could it POSSIBLY be better? All you are doing is introducing unnecessary lag and spool up time, by using a turbo that's way too big. Going by that theory that "bigger is better in the long run", why not go for a T51R SPL? Surely if a GT35 will be better in the long run, a T51R SPL will be even better in the long run!!! If you seriously think it would be better in the long run, perhaps your goals are really 350rwkw and not 250rwkw. Set your goal correctly, and buy the turbo that will make that power and not much more. 150-200hp headroom is OVERKILL and quite honestly silly.
  18. I believe they were printed in OPTION Magazine based from manufacturer ratings. It seems that HKS have revised their power rating for the GT-SS, because in my 2003 HKS Goodmaster, they are also rated at 280ps. I haven't seen the 2004 Goodsmaster yet though.
  19. As great as they are, Skylines are nothing to brag about really. It's just a Nissan, and that's what I usually say when asked: Her: "What car do you drive?" Me: "It's just a Nissan..." But then my friends usually chime in at that stage and go on and on about "Ohhh... Not just AAAAAAAAANY Nissan... Me: ""
  20. 250rwkw = 355rwhp That's about 425hp @ engine... Why are they recommending a 600hp turbo to make 450hp??? I agree with SydneyKid... A highflow stock turbo would do the job (or close enough to it), there's no need to muck around with engine internals or injectors... Grab yourself a fuel pressure regulator and just bump up rail pressure it you need a bit more fuel.
  21. HKS GT3040 will get you anywhere from 330rwkw to 370rwkw depending on exhaust housing size... It's too big for his needs (250rwkw) and will only result in unnecessary lag... Look for something in the range of a 400-450hp turbo... That will get you to 250rwkw with a little bit of headroom
