  1. Also, is a torque curve like that normal? RB26s usually have quite flat torque curves don't they?
  2. How cute... Does it squeak when you squeeze it?
  3. 526.6kw @ wheels from two low mount turbos?!? I don't believe it
  4. Please PM me if you have it!!! Cheers, Andrew.
  5. Sure, I can take a photo of the placard for you... Gimme an hour or so...
  6. Yep, same size as you... I'm running Bridgestone S03s 265/35/ZR18s with load/speed rating of 93 Y Michelins are expensive, but no more so than S03s or Pirellis... The 265s won't work for you... They don't have a load rating... You'll have to get the 285/35ZR18s or a new tyre placard
  7. I just checked my car and it has the Nissan Tyre Placard stuck on there. It lists a minimum of 600kg per tyre (or 90 Load Rating) and Speed Rating no less than Z...
  8. Bit quick on the "harrassment" trigger that buddy... If it's on the manufacturer's tyre placard as 670 load rating or higher, I don't see that as being harassment. Instead, I have to question Nissan's motive for putting such a high load rating for the car. The only tyres I could find that we could possibly use are Michelin Pilot Sports. 265/35/18 only has a ZR rating and no load rating on their website. But they have the following: 255/45ZR18 Rating: 99 Y 275/40ZR18 Rating: 99 Y 285/35ZR18 Rating: 97 Y http://www.michelin.com.au/tyres/tyr_pas_c...pilotSport.cfm# Click on "Click here for Dimension Data"
  9. Sorry, I probably wasn't clear: that at this stage, I'll be getting them painted professionally in by a panel beaters. Will post pics when done.
  10. Well done Brett Did you get first run on the new track??

  12. Ash, you sure are talking it up The higher you put yourself, the harder you'll fall

  14. What times did he get?
  15. Your brother better start stocking up on white golf shoes, plaid pants, polo-shirts and sweaters to tie around his shoulders......... all pastel colours too
  16. I was supposed to be picking up a loan set of cam covers tonight at Eastern Creek, but it rained and I didn't go... I'll try and get them tomorrow. Going to drop them off at Panel One in Alexandria for painting on Monday. I'll give you a call when they're done
  17. Robo said that he was caught doing "15km/h and over" For all you know, it was 29km/h over and he was doing just under 80km/h in a 50 zone. Come on guys... The speed isn't the issue here, as stated, we all speed now and again, and we ALL run the risk of being caught. It's the fact that he's trying to get out of paying the fine for something he did wrong. Cop it sweet and move on I say.
  18. Because he's trying to weasel out of the fine, and we get this same question once a week...
  19. Due to the nature of our cars, there are many SAU Members involved in motorsport at a hobby/amatuer level. As such, our members have many connections to buy motorsport-related products. In this thread, I hope to collate a list of circuit racing tyres, and the cheapest places that our members are able to organise for us. For my contribution, Gary's Motorsport Tyres have sold me two sets of Dunlop Formula-R D01Js (235/40ZR17) for a discounted price of $400 per tyre (fitted and balanced) Can anyone beat that price? Who has some contacts for purchasing the following tyres? Yokohama A032R Bridgestone RE55S Falken AZENIS RT-215 any others? Please list sizes and prices you can get for us!
  20. Aphex: according to this link (http://www.importscene.com.au/prod544.htm)... So no, it's a GTR-only feature.
  21. In NSW, you have 30 days from the issue date of the ticket to mail back the attached form to ask for it to be heard in a court of law. If you don't do anything, they'll send you a reminder letter... As far as I know, after a certain number of reminders, they just issue a warrant for your arrest and/or suspend your licence...
  22. Sorry mate, we get someone asking this EXACT question at LEAST once a week...
  23. Faxed in my entry form today
  24. It is indeed bullsh1t.... Just because they make a mistake on the ticket (or payment request) it doesn't mean anything. You still have to pay it. Failure to pay it will result in another notice and finally suspension of licence and/or warrant for your arrest until payment is made.
