erik, the difference between V-Spec and Non-VSpec in a nutshell: V-Spec has harder suspension. V-Spec has an Active Rear LSD which proportions torque laterally between the rear wheels electronically... Non-VSpec only proportions torque front/rear through ATESSA. There really isn't that much difference and for this price, I wouldn't be complaining!!! I'm being completely honest here in saying that if I didn't already have a GTR, I would buy this one in a heartbeat!!! Good luck 71LLA!

A few questions regarding those measurements if you don't mind? Just because two housings have the same A/R, it's entirely possible that they are completely different in design is it not? A/R is just a ratio of area of the scroll to the distance from the shaft, and speaks nothing of actual design? Also with wheel measurements, what does "1.997" mean? Can you have two different compressor wheels in DESIGN, but still have the same measurement of 1.997 inducer and 2.773 exducer? One last thing, apparently the GT-RS compressor housing has a new "ported shroud" design to try and reduce surging, so surely it's not the same as the GT2835? Cheers, Andrew.

Try dipping it in paint stripper? I've heard that sand blasting is really harsh on the material (as you can imagine)... I wanted my plenum sandblasted to get the black paint off, but was advised to paint strip it instead as it will result in a cleaner finish. From there, you can just get a can of metal spray paint and repaint it black?

That might very well be true, and since we already have so many old and decrepit cars polluting our environment and making our roads unsafe, do we really need more, albeit at a slightly lesser level? I can't see them passing any legislation that sees all 15 year old domestically sold cars being scrapped, but this is one thing that they can do to reduce the number of older cars on our roads.
