that used to be Bai's old R33, which was chopped and then became a Blitz (or was it Trial?) sponsored car was blue back in the day (like 1999?). They made the chop using a Nissan Exa wagon back and tailgate I think... can't remember what was in the build article, was so many years ago. It was slightly ghetto back then, like the rear was held together by the rollcage inside it as it had little structural strength on the sides. It just went away for a few years, and it'd come up occasionally at some car show. Then it got repainted silver and is doing the rounds of the car shows again... Leather interior, yakuza-spec tint AND curtains, passenger side drink tray, VIP kit (Fabulous, Wald etc) and some gangster angled exhausts are a MUST.

Just converted my cef to an R33 radiator, and can confirm that it was minimal effort. Basically you use the factory R33 mounting rubber and brackets. Then its a matter or using the factory hole for the top left bracket, and making a new hole on the radiator support for the top right bracket. The radiator does sit a little higher than the factory jigga, but not enough to hit the bonnet. I've got my factory underbonnet padding, so it just squashes that a touch.

My ceffy's a bit of an east coast whore... Its registered in Melbourne, but its currently with me in Brissy, and when I'm not using it, my old man's got it in Sydney.

there's a chinese place next to the KFC at the Glen (Empress or something) that caters for Evo drivers. Food is fuckin brilliant and the price is high enough to make you snooty ass mofos think you're having a good meal. Rock Kung is cheap and nasty but tastes so good at night, just like the SE crew (think about it) Ran into Allen (LEANBAC) and his cuz at "the Drink" on the Gold Coast on Friday. lol random as fuck, but it made me miss home and you guys

damn, even at the end of all that it looks like a Datto ute with an R33 front. that roofline's way too high for a skyline front. Should have kept it as a cefiro front. A+ for effort though. Where's the other ceffy ute conversion from thailand with the laurel front? that was tough as.

you gotta be a regular to appreciate it. whenever i walk in the dude's already written down pork ribs with spicy salt and mixed fried rice on his piece of paper. and the food... well at 3am nothing tastes better. Its not the best food, and to be honest if you're a Evo driving yuppie you'll never come back once you've eaten there... and it's probably better kept that way too. But for a night with the lads its a decent meal, and a good setting for a fortnightly catchup.

I kept seeing a Red Commonwhore, a Black Statesman with massive chromies and a Green Commonwhore Ute all the frikken time. I was stayin at the Oasis on Gap Rd. Back in sunny Brissy now... but had SUCH a blast with the Alice Hospital nurses (including nude swimming at 4am after Bo's or the Cas )

no worries. I didn't drive we flew in. My cuz started working at Alice Springs Hospital, so we came for a weekend to see him and check out the sights. Look out for 4 curries, 2 guys and 2 girls getting up to shenanigans. We're staing at the Oasis Accor Inn. We're here till Tuesday morning. Haven't seen a skyline ont he road yet, I saw a blue silvia with NSW plates (i think) outside target yesterday. Not many coppers around either... lucky buggers. Saw a few WRX's and the obligatory Commodores with chromies. Heading off to Bo's now for a few drinks.
