  1. I love the weather shilds on the ceffy (being a grandpa car and all). Just gotta tint em black to make em blend with the car a bit better. My driver side one ripped right off on a Melbourne to Sydney drive tho, so on the lookout for a replacement. Dunno about the ones on the skyline... being a frameless door design it kinda wrecks the effect.
  2. o0o0o0oo loverrrs
  3. *gasp* say it ain't so Sam... you've gone over to the dark side. what happened to RB20-love?
  4. boobies + breast cancer = fail
  5. Toowong village car park's pretty safe... only 4 hour parking tho which kinda blows. Still driving from chapel hill to toowong is cheaper than catching the bus... otherwise I'd bus it to work. I work on coro drive across the road from the station.
  6. scratch that... I just installed Red Alert 3. Playing multiplayer over Hamachi.... fuckin epic. It so awesome that it gives me rock hard greasy boners when I play it. um Core 2 Duo E6400 cpu, twin ATI X1950 512mb video cards that are running that crossfire stuff and 8gb of DDR2 800 RAM. Its about a year and a few months old now.
  7. regardless of whether you go JDM gangster tyte or aussie offroad superstar suspension style... the base rule you have to adhere to is that flat colours go with flat colours, and metallics work with other metallics. Metallic paintjob with flat green = fail and anything with metallic green wheels = fail flat white with flat green wheel = win metallic silver with black or metallic wheel (try a gramlight with a titanium lip) = win
  8. 280rwkw is easily achievable on an SR20, why on earth would you want to put an RB25 in there other than to make your car nose heavy and for bragging rights? Retaining an alloy SR20 block as opposed to a cast iron RB25 block is worth the extra power you'll have to make to compensate for the added weight. Seriously, save the time and money you'd waste on shoehorning an RB25DET in and make a bulletproof SR20DET.
  9. Sponsor or not, the rules of the forum apply to everyone, including those about spamming. That said, I wouldn't consider this a spam thread, as it is genuinely informational (although since its about a particular product, the link dropping is kinda inevitable). Keep up the good work, congrats on the television coverage, and thanks for your support.
  10. spending waaaaay too much time playing Fallout 3
  11. has Ben netted a japanese girlfriend yet?
  12. *waits for truckies to have massive subwoofa's fitted to their rigs so they can play noise cancelling inverse soundwaves to foil the sensors*
  13. well all that does is send a regular RX/TX serial signal using the USB port. You can wire up an iphone to send and recieve this signal (uding the proprietory plug instead of the USB plug), but that level of interaction is not allowed using the factory software, you need to bypass the operating system and talk to the port directly... which you can only do in a jailbroken iphone.
  14. because you just have Kris great device, good to see the V8 landbarges finally getting quick release/tilt systems that they've been using in JGTC and DTM for a while now. Just gotta be caregul that the car's not moving or rolling when its tilted, otherwise it looks like you could get a nasty blow to the meat n veges/kneecaps.
  15. sorry not having a go at you or your latest aquisition... but you guys are willing to pay $600 and more for two levers that connect to a SPTT which wires up to the plus and minus on your gearbox's wiring harness? why isn't someone making this in australia? surely there's a big enough market with 350Z owners alone?
  16. nope.... proprietory connector, the supplied USB to iPhone connector cable can be used to connect the iphone to your PC, and access it as a camera... or with the itunes drivers installed you can access it thru itunes... or if you put it into recovery mode you can read and write from the firmware.
  17. Membership also covers the costs of the individual "club". NSW and VIC get you CAMS membership as well. NSW membership gets you a night of debauchery with Dunkan, and SAU VIC membership gets you super awesome cool merchandise and possible induction into the "I used to drive a Skyline, but now I drive an Evo" club... Oh and from memory SAU QLD was like $25 or something. History thread... err.. somewhere...
  18. wow... the first thing I thought about when I saw that rear quarter was this: Fuckin awesome work nissan... finally the Z doesn't look like a steaming pile of turd (aka Z31, Z32, Z33)... but has gone back to looking like a smooth sexy cheap Ferrari 250 GTO lookalike. lol clearly has his finger on the pulse when it comes to heritage based design cues.
  19. You're being a douche. The end. Stop trolling before you get warned or banned and then whinge like a schoolgirl on her first period. Love, Shan
  20. lol true... modifying a A31 to an NA31 chassis is kinda retarded. There's a few legal ways to import one, and a few not so legal... if you really wanted to. But no one does. Which is why there's so very few. So much effort when you can spend the same amount of money and time and buy two fully functional and legal R32 GTRs. Australian Import laws are awesome when you look at it that way.
  21. what's a lissner st? but yes, I work in toowong
  22. AWD ceffies were after the 15 year rule cutoff, so the only ones that got into the country (australia) were the ones that came in under RAWS way back in the day. So you'd be able to count them on your hand. They have a different chassis to th RWD cef's (same as the GTS4 and GTSt chassis being different even though the panels are the same). Front bits of a GTS4 are interchangeable with the NA31 ceffy.
  23. Right now somewhere between my mortgage and my bank balance.
  24. you can use an RB20DET auto box, providing you adjust for the different ratios, but you're right, they don't handle the extra power too well. As for the ECU, i'm not sure if they changed in the series 2 , but the series 1 used the same ECU as the R31.
