  1. Good meet, was good meat too. Next time I'm hoping Heidi will be there (but no scat thanks).
  2. crud... does anyone have a tripod i can borrow for tonight if we're takin pics? I'm comin straight from work it seems like.
  3. Yes No To do what you're thinking is a lot more involved than just laying a sheet of carbon cloth on it and resining it up. You need to start by protecting the dash (foil, gladwrap, tape depending on the chemicals you're gonna use). then spray it with a coat of gelcoat, then lay fibreglass on top of that. once the fibreglass has started to tack, you might wanna build up some wood reinforcement so that it holds its shape when you pull it off the dash. Once you've got all that done you'll have a mould, which you can use to make your plug (replacement dash).
  4. why did you take a pic of your crotch?
  5. while its not asian, check out Rich Maha in Burwood for some awesome Malaysian/Sri Lankan food. They do Mi Gorengs, Nasi Gorens, Kwae Teow and Teh Tarik.
  6. in addition might be of help to sand down the original part evenly, just enough to make up for the thickness you're gonna be adding with the layer of cloth and all that resin. Especially areas that butt up against other parts and might be a tight squeeze. remember with CF you can always add more resin to make it look bigger, but you can't remove when its set.
  7. The reason for this is that you're not supposed to drive an F50, but be driven in one, so only your chauffer would sit in front. So if you really had to have a nap while travelling you could stretch out. I'm thinking of bringing down a Gloria or Cedric C35 to replace my ceffy as the daily... but the F50 is very tempting.... esp as they're in a very similar price range these days. Local prices are still miles high as dealers here think they can sell them off as Infiniti Q45's.
  8. Rock Kung would probably revive the duck 3 times, but only because they didn't kill it properly. But seriously, you can get bone soup there though, so they'll probably do the duck bone soup.
  9. he's from NZ... their "certified" is the same as our "engineered". Good to have you on here mate. now send us some Workshop X front bars You can check out the rest of Drift Inc and their shenanigans at http://www.driftinc.bravehost.com/
  10. some of the guys were thinking of cruising (not skids or mountain runs ) afterwards... dunno guess you'll just have to see what people feel like on the night. I'm just gonna go for meet and meat.
  11. hahah I've only been trying to convince V35 owners for the last 2 years that putting a titan/navara engine into a V35 is a good idea. I know if I ever buy a V35 its the first thing I'd do. (well maybe hook up a CVT tranny and paddle shift to it too... mmmm) hopefully this gives someone in oz a good kick up the butt so it happens locally. Installing a Stillen supercharger on the VK56DE http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticles/070...rger/index.html If the R35 GTR was the clinically precise approach to making 500hp at the wheels, then jamming the titan engine under the hood is the equivalent of using a jackhammer to amking that same figure. Both very very fun ways of getting there... but that sound... oh that sweet sweet sound, it'd put AMG V8's to shame.
  12. RWD stagea owners club? aren't all of you AWD'ers?
  13. Nissan Titan V8 VK56DE Engine + Supercharger + custom built drift car by Drift Emporium = awesometown. Full Buildup pics here: http://s102.photobucket.com/albums/m97/sw2...uild/?start=100
  14. not yet... car's still gettin built and painted with clear indicators and that grille on you can see how the R32 evolved into an R33 *shudder*
  15. hahaha good luck sunshine-steve. you and a gazillion other datto fanboys want one to build a Ken Mary replica of epic awesomeness. They're almost as bad as AE86's these days. See if you can harass an old pensioner for his car, its the only way you'll find one for decent money.... or try your luck on the aussie RatDat classifieds... you'll have to fend off other C110 hunters though. Didn't Drunkan have one? C110 coupe's are kinda cheapish (kinda being relative, it'll still cost as much as an R34 GTR but not as much as a KGC10) in japan, so you might be able to import one under 15 year rule imports. But if you're gonna do that, then you should get something more exotic, like an old bluebird or cedric.... then convert it to a lowrider style getup. That would be awesome.
  16. eyyy.... looks hot... welcome to the HKS grille'd R32 club here's the one i've got
  17. nice one lads... good to see the GTR put to good use. Maybe someone at Nissan Australia might take notice now.
  18. F50 Cima's are guranteed to leave everyone you drive past with rock hard greasy boners.
  19. I F50 cima's... they're the pinnacle of Nissan baller cars. You can actually hear the sound of sloppy lips if you get a blowy while you drive it... unlike in the skyline.
  20. cos its for my ceffy daily... too much effort to change a ceffy to manual, have to get a manual centre console and change the footbrake to a clutch and all that jazz. just want an auto gearbox so I can pull out the old fucked one and put the new one in cheap cheap. ceffy's stock standard, and if I start modding it then it'll end up like my R32... 90% of its time spent at the workshop.
  21. Rock Kung in Glenny. The End. Its exactly like a chinese restaurant in china. Quick, half arsed decor, bugger all service unless you speak chinese.... but the food is good, cheap and they're open till 3am. SAU Half Duck and Bucket of Rice Crew highly endorses this establishment.
  22. i had the off the wall burger seeing as I'm here in brissy now... went with a few guys from work... I could only get thru 3/4th of the burger before I ran off screaming "it tastes like buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurning". Although I didn't suffer from any of the anal viralitis that the guys in that writeup seemed to. I did drink a bit of milk n water to make sure my stomach lining hadn't dissolved overnight.
  23. soccer mum's in X5's and surly blokes in stageas will get along juuuuust fine they can discuss... laundry powders and stuff.
